Queens Park Rangers will be gunning for a fourth-straight victory in the Championship on Wednesday night (20:00) as they welcome West Bromwich Albion to Loftus Road live on Sky Sports Main Event. The Rs have pulled themselves out of the relegation zone on goal difference with their recent run and will be looking to keep it that way in the final weeks of the season.

They pulled off a huge upset at league leaders Leicester City last time out and they won't be fazed by the visit of the Baggies. Albion defeated Coventry City on Friday night and they will be eager to give themselves some breathing room inside the top six. Below we outline our QPR vs West Brom predictions.

QPR vs West Brom Betting Tips

  • QPR or draw and over 2.5 goals @ 16/5
  • Both teams to score yes @ EVS

Match Odds

QPR are 21/10 to win again. Albion are 6/4 to take the three points, while the draw can be backed at 2/1.

Both teams to score is valued at EVS and over 2.5 goals is 11/8.

Team News

The hosts have no fresh injury concerns heading into this one, which will be a big boost for Marti Cifuentes as he looks to keep the Rs in the second tier.

For Albion, Daryl Dike, Josh Maja, Brandon Thomas-Asante and Jayson Molumby are sidelined through injury.

QPR or draw and over 2.5 goals @ 16/5

QPR are riding a wave of momentum right now and the fact that they have got themselves out of the bottom three will only spur them on to keep their good form going. They welcome a Baggies side that boast an impressive home record, but they haven't had the best of times on the road this year, having won just five from 17.

The hosts will very much fancy their chances against another top-six outfit, but to the Baggies' credit, they do have a strong squad who will be tough for them to beat. However, after beating the Foxes, the Rs will feel that they can take on anyone.

For safety we have gone for this double chance market. We feel that there will be goals at both ends and we find it difficult to see Albion being the ones to end QPR's current unbeaten run. They may have it in them to end their winning streak, but we fancy the London side to come away from this game with a point at least.

Five of QPR's last six matches has seen BTTS land, and with them facing a top-six side in West Brom, goals shouldn't be in short supply on Wednesday. Their winning streak will have given them confidence that they have not really had this season but it will give them a boost for another tough fixture, and there should be no issues with them finding the back of the net.

Albion are having to deal without a centre-forward right now with all their options injured, but they are still managing to score goals. Celtic loanee Mikey Johnston has been a revelation for them since joining in January. The Irish international has scored three goals in seven Championship outings, including a beauty against Coventry last time out.

When you also consider that Albion have John Swift, Grady Diangana and Jed Wallace to call upon, there is more than enough goalscoring quality in Carlos Corberan's makeshift attack.
