PSG vs Bayern Munich Bet Builder Tips: Back last-16 hero in 9/1 Atlanta effort

Arguably, the pick of the 2025 Fifa Club World Cup quarter-final ties this weekend comes from Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, on Saturday (17:00 BST, Dazn/Betfred), as Paris Saint-Germain take on Bayern Munich.
Below are my PSG vs Bayern Munich Bet Builder Tips, where I have served up a 9/1 four-fold, featuring two players from the Parisiens, and one from the Roten.

Match Result - PSG
PSG have enjoyed a sensational 2024/25 campaign so far, winning the Uefa Champions League, Ligue 1, Coupe de France and Trophees des Champions, and they're on course to complete a clean sweep of trophies at the Club World Cup.
The French side stumbled slightly in the group stage, losing 1-0 to Botafogo, but a 4-0 thrashing of Atletico Madrid and a 2-0 victory over Seattle Sounders sent them into the knockouts as Group B winners, setting up a last-16 tie with Lionel Messi's Inter Miami, who were swept aside 4-0 in Atlanta.
Next up for Luis Enrique's men is a quarter-final with Bayern, who trounced semi-pro side Auckland City 10-0 and beat Boca Juniors 2-1 in their first two group games, but lost 1-0 to Benfica and ended up as runners-up to the Portuguese giants. Vincent Kompany's charges then navigated the challenge of Flamengo in the last 16, beating the Brazilians 4-2.
While PSG have kept three clean sheets at the tournament, Bayern have only kept one and missed out on top spot in Group C to Benfica.
The sides have already met once this season, at the Allianz Arena in Munich last November, with Kim Min-jae striking in the 38th minute to hand Bayern a 1-0 win in the league phase of the Champions League.
However, PSG are a different beast these days, overcoming some early-season difficulties to romp to multiple titles, and I struggle to see how Bayern can live with them on Saturday.
I think the Parisiens get the job done here, without the need for extra time.
Joao Neves (PSG) Total Shots - 2+
Joao Neves was the star of the show for PSG against Inter Miami, opening up a two-goal lead with a brace at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The 20-year-old is by no means a prolific goalscorer, netting five times in 55 PSG appearances prior to their last-16 tie with the MLS side last week.
He's not someone who's shy to shoot, though, averaging 1.3 shots per game in the Champions League and one per game in Ligue 1.
Meanwhile, at the Club World Cup, he's averaging a shot per game, shooting once as a second-half substitute against Botafogo, once against Seattle Sounders, and twice against Inter Miami.
Following his heroics against the latter, I'm backing Neves to try his luck again a couple of times on Saturday.
PSG vs Bayern Munich Bet Builder Stats
- PSG have kept three clean sheets in four CWC games
- Joao Neves (PSG) bagged a brace in last round against Inter Miami, shot three times vs Bayern last November
- Achraf Hakimi (PSG) has scored six goals in last nine club starts
- Michael Olise (MUN) registered a shot on target within a minute of his introduction vs PSG in last H2H
Achraf Hakimi (PSG) Total Shots on Target - 1+
Like Neves, PSG right-back Achraf Hakimi was on target for his side in their last-16 success, scoring the fourth and final goal on the stroke of half-time.
It was the 26-year-old's second strike of the competition, having found the net in PSG's final group game against the Sounders, while he had an effort saved in the victory over Atletico. He also had two efforts saved against Inter Miami, raising his shots on target per game average to 1.2.

Hakimi averaged 0.5 shots on target in this season's Ligue 1 and 0.9 per game in the Champions League.
The Morocco international has scored six goals in his last nine starts for club and country, so don't be surprised to see him taking aim a few times on Saturday. He's shown an ability to shoot accurately, so he looks like a good bet for at least one effort on target against Bayern.
Michael Olise (MUN) Total Shots on Target - 1+
Bayern winger Michael Olise was kept quiet in front of goal against Flamengo, failing to take a single shot, but he was still an effective outlet for the Bundesliga giants, winning five free-kicks.
The 23-year-old is still among the highest scorers at this year's Club World Cup, with only Benfica's Angel Di Maria (four) finding the net more times than him in the USA, following his brace against Auckland and single strike against Boca Juniors.
Olise also had two efforts saved against Boca Juniors and is averaging 1.2 shots on target per game at the tournament.
He was only a 72nd-minute substitute in November's Champions League meeting, but had a shot saved within a minute of his introduction.
Bayern will be looking to him for inspiration on Saturday, and I think the Frenchman can at least test Gianluigi Donnarumma between the PSG sticks.
