PSG to win

With the home advantage and the superstar that is Kylian Mbappe in their ranks, it is hard to see anything other than a PSG victory in this first leg.

If Les Parisiens want to fulfil their European dream then they need to give their rivals things to worry about now. Luis Enrique will try and emphasise that his side could perhaps wrap up the tie with a thumping display at Parc des Princes, but of course they are coming up against a Real Sociedad side who have been defensively solid in recent weeks.

They have kept three clean sheets in their last four matches, but those were all 0-0 draws, while the other was a 1-0 defeat. Goals have been hard to come by and that is also why it is hard to see them causing an upset in PSG's back yard.

Both teams to score

Despite this, we do think that they can get on the scoresheet in Paris. The fact that they have gone four matches without scoring a goal will have them more desperate to end this barren run, and PSG haven't been the most defensively-solid side in Europe this season.

And let's not forget that Real Sociedad topped their group that featured Inter Milan and Benfica. They have lost their way in front of goal recently but they have shown to be a strong outfit on the European stage, and they can certainly cause the hosts some problems.

Kylian Mbappe first PSG scorer

PSG's hopes for Champions League glory depend on the form of their superstar Mbappe, who once again, could be playing his last season for Les Parisiens.

The French international has scored three goals in six Champions League appearances this term, and has scored a whopping 30 across all competitions. He will carry the biggest goal threat among both sets of players on Wednesday night, and we think if anyone is going to score PSG's first goal, it's him.
