Both Tottenham and Manchester City managed to avoid the Champions League knockout phase playoff round thanks to wins in midweek. Both Tottenham and Manchester City need three Premier League points added to their bank accounts on Sunday – albeit the reasoning for their desired success are far removed from each other.

Semenyo keeping his place as part of the attacking cohort, the other scorer Omar Marmoush likely to step down from the starting eleven after Erling Haaland found himself back amongst the goals in midweek. His goal against Galatasaray indicating that the Norwegian may just have woken from his slumber at just the right stage of the season.

Four in the league, six overall. Not bad for a man reportedly wanted by Real Madrid, so why not add an extra million to his price tag with what will have to be a consolation against Manchester City.
