Team News

Celtic are expected to have their World Cup contingent available for selection, with Kieran Tierney, Anthony Ralston, Sebastian Tounekti, Yang Hyun-jun, Alistair Johnston, Benjamin Nygren and Auston Trusty all pushing for starts.

Summer signing Camilo Duran has scored two in two since his arrival from Qarabag and he should lead the line once again.

Football Odds

Unlike Celtic, Milan's World Cup representatives are unlikely to feature in this contest, meaning the visitors will be without Mike Maignan, Pervis Estupinan, Koni De Winter, Adrien Rabiot, Ardon Jashari, Luka Modric, Rafael Leao, Alexis Saelemaekers, Goncalo Ramos and Santiago Gimenez.

However, summer arrivals Mario Gila and Francesco Camarda are in line to feature.

Celtic vs AC Milan Odds

Celtic are 13/8 to pick up the win on home soil, with the draw priced at 13/5 and AC Milan 6/5 to claim the spoils.

Both teams to score is available at 1/2 and over 3.5 goals can be backed at 5/4.

Celtic to win @ 13/8

While the Bhoys are preparing for their final pre-season friendly, Milan are at the beginning of their preparations for the new campaign and they are without a host of first-team players for this clash.

The lack of options will be a limiting factor for manager Ruben Amorim, who will be taking charge of the Rossoneri for the first time and this could turn out to be a disappointing trip to Glasgow.

The Bhoys have not been setting the world alight, having recorded draws against Shelbourne and Middlesbrough either side of a 4-1 defeat to Sporting, but they have been building fitness levels ahead of the season opener at home to Dundee on August 3rd.

New summer signing Duran has settled into life in Scotland quickly, scoring in both of his appearances and he looks set to play a key role this term, especially with Daizen Maeda close to joining Ipswich Town.

Celtic also have the benefit of welcoming back those players who featured at the World Cup, with the likes of Nygren, Tounekti and Yang all expected to get some playing time.

With Milan in the early stages of the Amorim era and without key players and with Celtic ahead in their season preparations, this looks like a chance for Martin O'Neill's side to pick up a win on home soil.

Both teams to score in the second half @ 13/8

There have been more goals in the second half in two of the last three games for both Celtic and the Rossoneri and better attacking play may follow after the break.

The raft of changes expected as the game progresses could make for disjointed performances in defence and this should present some scoring opportunities to both teams.

Celtic have scored in the second half in nine of their last 10 matches, while Milan have netted after the break in two of their last three outings.
