Both Teams to Score - Yes
Both teams have scored in the last four meetings, with at least three goals struck in all four. Last season, there was a 2-2 draw in north London (December 2024), and a 4-2 win for Wolves in Wolverhampton (April 2025).
Wolves have struggled for goals in the Premier League this term, netting just three times and blanking in 60% (three) of their five games. It's been a different story in the Carabao Cup, though, where they have beaten fellow top-flight sides West Ham United (3-2) and Everton (2-0).
Having scored six goals across two games against Spurs last season, and finding the net in four of their last five matches, including the last two, Wolves should back themselves to get on the scoresheet this weekend, despite Spurs only conceding three times in the league.
Two of those three goals were conceded last Saturday, though, and they were 1-0 down inside five minutes against Bournemouth (0-1) in their last Premier League home game.
Spurs have scored in seven of their eight contests across all competitions this season, and will expect to strike at least once against a Wolves side that has shipped 12 goals and not conceded a clean sheet.
Player to Score at Anytime - Richarlison (TOT)
Richarlison has an impressive goalscoring record against Wolves, notching six times in 12 appearances.
The Brazilian put five past the Old Gold for previous club Everton, and added a sixth as a late substitute in April's 4-2 defeat at Molineux.
Richarlison has made a strong start to the 2025/26 Premier League campaign, bagging a brace in Spurs' opening-weekend victory over Burnley (3-0) and netting his third goal in last Saturday's stalemate with Brighton.
The 28-year-old is likely to get the nod up top again this weekend, and he will be confident of troubling the Wanderers once more.
Tottenham Hotspur vs Wolves Bet Builder Stats
- Both teams have scored in the last four H2Hs
- Richarlison (TOT) has scored six goals in 12 apps v Wolves (struck in last H2H)
- Pedro Porro (TOT) averaged 1.2 shots p/g in PL last season (four shots in five games this term)
- Joao Gomes (WOL) made four tackles in last season's corresponding fixture (4+ in two 25/26 PL apps)
Pedro Porro (TOT) Total Shots - 1+
Spurs right-back Pedro Porro averaged 1.2 shots per Premier League game last season, and has taken four shots across five matches this term.
The 26-year-old has been even more active going forward in cup competitions, recording a couple of shots in the Uefa Super Cup final against Paris Saint-Germain on August 13, and trying his luck four times in Wednesday's 3-0 Carabao Cup victory over Doncaster Rovers.
Tottenham Hotspur vs Wolves Odds
Wolves have conceded 61 shots in the Premier League this season, averaging 12.2 per game, and if they give up a similar amount on Saturday, I'd expect Porro to be responsible for at least one.
Joao Gomes (WOL) Total Tackles - 4+
Wolves midfielder Joao Gomes averaged 3.8 tackles per game in the 2023/24 Premier League before dropping down to 3.2 per game last season. He made four tackles in the draw at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, though, and three in the reverse fixture.
The 24-year-old has recorded 3+ tackles in four of his five league outings this term, making four in the 4-0 defeat to Manchester City on August 16, and another four in the 1-0 loss to Leeds United last weekend.
Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba made two tackles in the first half against Spurs last Saturday before making way for Diego Gomez, who registered three, so four looks achievable for Wolves' Brazilian enforcer if he plays at least an hour in north London.
