Premier League Predictions: Liverpool to drop points again

Gameweek 16 of the Premier League comes our way this weekend and after a disappointing collective effort last weekend, myself, Nick and Simon will be hoping for a better strike rate this time around.
You will find our latest Premier League predictions below, and I have Liverpool dropping points again.

Chelsea vs Everton (Sat 15:00) - 1-1 @ 13/2
Chelsea are winless in three league games as they host Everton at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. The Toffees head to the capital off the back of an impressive 3-0 home win over Nottingham Forest.
David Moyes' side have now won four of their last five in the top flight, so they should be full of confidence in west London. The hosts will be desperate to get back to winning ways but I think they may have to settle for another draw here.
Nick: 2-1
Simon: 3-1
Liverpool vs Brighton (Sat 15:00) - 2-2 @ 11/1
Speaking of draws, I find it hard to back Liverpool for anything other than a point at the moment. The Reds threw away a 2-0 and then a 3-2 lead at Leeds United last weekend, leaving them with just two victories from their previous 10 league fixtures.
They host Brighton & Hove Albion at Anfield on Saturday as they try to get back on track, but the drama sparked by Mohamed Salah last week won't help matters. The Seagulls don't have one of the strongest away records in the division, but Liverpool are not to be feared at the moment, so they can at least come away with a point.
Nick: 2-2
Simon: 3-2
Burnley vs Fulham (Sat 17:30) - 1-3 @ 16/1
Six consecutive defeats in the top flight leaves Burnley in an uncomfortable position right now. Scott Parker's comments in the media haven't been completely reassuring, either, so it seems like the Clarets are already close to accepting their fate.
They host Fulham at Turf Moor on Saturday, with the Cottagers looking to bounce back from two consecutive defeats. They bagged four goals against Manchester City last week, so they certainly have the firepower to get back to winning ways, and they have a good opportunity to do so against a disheartened Burnley side.
Nick: 1-2
Simon: 2-2
Arsenal vs Wolves (Sat 20:00) - 4-0 @ 15/2
Routine win for Arsenal, next.
Joking aside, the Gunners host Wolves in the late kick-off on Saturday, and after a 4-1 defeat at home to Manchester United on Monday, I can't see things improving for the Old Gold.
The club is in crisis, and Rob Edwards is struggling to have an impact on the situation. This is a free hit for Arsenal after their crushing defeat at Aston Villa. Expect a convincing response here.
Nick: 3-0
Simon: 4-0

Crystal Palace vs Man City (Sun 14:00) - 1-2 @ 7/1
Crystal Palace dug deep to win at Fulham last weekend, but they face a tough test on Sunday as Man City make the trip to Selhurst Park. Pep Guardiola's side are on a three-game winning streak in the Premier League, and their confidence has been further raised by a victory at Real Madrid in the Uefa Champions League on Wednesday.
The Citizens have a lot more squad depth than their hosts, who are still having to cope with some injuries. The Eagles can put up a fight, but I fancy City to edge this contest.
Nick: 1-3
Simon: 2-3
Forest vs Tottenham (Sun 14:00) - 2-2 @ 12/1
Nottingham Forest were well beaten at Everton last weekend as Sean Dyche suffered defeat against his former employers. The Tricky Trees have a chance to respond to that loss when they welcome Tottenham Hotspur to the City Ground.
Spurs ended their long wait for a second home win of the season last week as they defeated Brentford 2-0, and Thomas Frank's side have one of the strongest away records in the division.
It'll be tough, but I think Forest can dig deep for a point here.
Nick: 2-1
Simon: 3-1
Sunderland vs Newcastle (Sun 14:00) - 2-2 @ 12/1
For the first time since 2017, we have a Premier League Tyne-Wear derby as Sunderland take on Newcastle United at the Stadium of Light. The Black Cats have been excellent upon their return to the top flight, and they boast a strong home record, with the Mackems yet to be beaten in seven matches.
Newcastle have won just one of their seven away fixtures, but they have earned three draws so far, and this is the result I am drawn to on Sunday. The Magpies have been improving of late, and they can pose a few problems for their bitter rivals.
Nick: 3-3
Simon: 4-3

West Ham vs Villa (Sun 14:00) - 1-2 @ 15/2
We are starting to see improvements from West Ham United under Nuno Espirito Santo. The Irons have lost just one of their last five league games, picking up three draws in that time. They will look to dent the momentum of Aston Villa, who are flying high right now.
The Villans have won five on the bounce in the Premier League, with a statement win at home to Arsenal last weekend to propel them into the title race. They are a team full of confidence, and I think it will be very difficult for West Ham to stop them.
Nick: 1-1
Simon: 2-1
Brentford vs Leeds (Sun 16:30) - 3-2 @ 22/1
Home is where Brentford have found the most comfort this season, and they will look for their sixth win of the season at the Gtech Community Stadium when Leeds United travel to west London on Sunday.
The Whites are in good shape with a win against Chelsea and a draw against Liverpool, both at Elland Road. They will look to build on that against the Bees, but the hosts have been brilliant on their own patch.
I'm going for a Brentford win, but this could be filled with goals.
Nick: 2-1
Simon: 3-1
Man United vs Bournemouth (Mon 20:00) - 2-2 @ 11/1
An improved second-half performance saw Manchester United beat Wolves 4-1 on Monday, and the Red Devils have now won two of their previous three fixtures in the league. They will look to build on this at home to AFC Bournemouth on Monday.
The Cherries played out a goalless draw with Chelsea last time out, and they are now winless in six games. They do have the attacking quality to ask questions of United, but I can't see them winning right now.
I can see a high-scoring draw, but even then I'm not too confident.
Nick: 1-3
Simon: 2-3
