Manchester United vs Nottingham Forest Bet Builder Tips: 6/1 shot for Bruno’s golden assist

Manchester United look set to make Michael Carrick their permanent gaffer this summer and he has been nominated for the Premier League’s Manager of the Season award, such has been his impact on the club.
With Champions League football secured, United host Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford (12:30pm Sunday, Sky Sports Main Event) on the penultimate weekend. Below you can find my Manchester United vs Nottingham Forest Bet Builder Tips.

Manchester United to win
I think we have to back Manchester United to win their final game of the season at Old Trafford. Carrick has won 10 of his 15 games as United manager during this spell, and the players have improved drastically under his watch, so it is no surprise that he has been given the job on a permanent basis heading into next season.
We’ve seen United lost just two of their 17 league games in 2026, and only Leeds have beaten them at home since Carrick took over. Nottingham Forest, with safety now secured, look to be a fairly kind opponent with nothing to play for now. They have made sure they will be playing in the top flight but will still be hurting having lost their Europa League semi-final to Aston Villa.
Forest’s away form has been strong this term, but I can’t see United doing anything but winning, as their home fans say goodbye to the 2025/26 season.
Manchester United vs Nottingham Forest Odds
Bruno Fernandes assist
Bruno Fernandes. The assist king. He is just one away from matching both Thierry Henry and Kevin De Bruyne’s joint record of 20 Premier League assists in one season, and there is no doubt that it will be on his mind heading into the final two games of the season.
It feels like at this point he’d even pass a penalty if given the chance, as the Portuguse man is clearly focused on this individual accolade. It feels as though United will also be playing towards him in this manner given that they have nothing left to play for. Bruno needs two assists to hold the record outright, and I’ll back him to get at least one on Sunday.
Neco Williams to be carded
Neco Williams was given the captain’s armband against Newcastle and has picked up seven yellows and one red card this term for the Tricky Trees. Playing as a full-back, he is likely to come up against one of Manchester United’s tricky wingers, in the form of Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo or even Amad Diallo.
All three of those rank well for fouls against, and Williams isn’t shy at getting stuck in himself. As a result, I think he’s the most likely Forest man to get booked, and that rounds off our Bet Builder at 6/1.
