Leeds vs Liverpool Prediction: Whites to apply pressure on ruffled Reds

Leeds United produced their best performance of the season to beat Chelsea 3-1 at Elland Road on Wednesday. Next up for Daniel Farke's side is a home game on Saturday (17:30 GMT, Sky Sports Main Event) against reigning Premier League champions Liverpool, who endured more frustration in midweek as they were held to a 1-1 draw at Anfield by Sunderland.
Below are my Leeds vs Liverpool predictions, supported by all the latest team news and match odds.

Team News
Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha both scored in Leeds' 3-2 defeat at Manchester City last Saturday, with Calvert-Lewin adding to his season tally in midweek against Chelsea, but both the Englishman and German are serious doubts for this weekend's game with calf and hamstring problems, respectively.
Sean Longstaff (calf) and Dan James (hamstring) remain in the Whites' treatment room.
Liverpool right-back Conor Bradley could make his return from a muscle injury on Saturday, and Arne Slot may be tempted to stick him straight into the starting XI in place of Joe Gomez, who has made rare back-to-back starts for the Reds in the past week.
Jeremie Frimpong (hamstring) is still sidelined, though.
Slot will be considering handing starts to Mohamed Salah and Hugo Ekitike, who have begun Liverpool's last two matches on the bench.
Leeds vs Liverpool Predicted Lineups
- Leeds: Perri; Rodon, Bijol, Struijk; Bogle, Stach, Gruev, Ampadu, Gudmundsson; Piroe, Okafor
- Liverpool: Alisson; Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Kerkez; Gravenberch, Szoboszlai; Salah, Wirtz, Gakpo; Ekitike
Leeds have won two of their last three games at Elland Road, and the Whites are 16/5, or a 23.8% chance, to make it three wins from four at home on Saturday, with Liverpool priced at 5/6 (54.5%), and the draw offered at 11/4.
Betfred are offering several Price Boosts for this match, including 1+ Goal in Both Halves, 4+ Corners in Both Halves & 20+ Booking Pts in Both Halves at 8/1 (was 7/1).
Leeds vs Liverpool Stats
- LIV have conceded 6+ corners in 4/7 PL away games
- Bijol (LEE) has recorded a shot in his last two apps (scored midweek v CHE)
- Struijk (LEE) has taken a shot in his last seven starts (averaging one p/g in PL)
Home Team Total Corners Over/Under +5.5 - Over 5.5 @ 2/1
Leeds are averaging 4.71 corners taken per home game in the Premier League, recording 6+ on two occasions.
After scoring early on from a corner against Chelsea on Wednesday, they will be looking to rack up the corners against Liverpool, who have been vulnerable at defending them all season.
Slot's side have been consistent in their conceding of corners, averaging 5.14 home and away.
In seven Premier League away games this season, Liverpool have conceded at least six corners in four, including their last two at Man City and West Ham (both seven), so over 5.5 looks achievable for Leeds at Elland Road.

Bet Builder - Jaka Bijol & Pascal Struijk (both LEE) 1+ Total Shots Each @ 3/1
Leeds centre-backs Jaka Bijol and Pascal Struijk are averaging 0.4 shots and one shot per game, respectively, in this season's Premier League.
Bijol, who joined in the summer from Italian side Udinese, only made his first appearance for the Whites on October 24, but he's now featured in five of their last six games.
The Slovenian was only a second-half substitute against Manchester City last weekend, but he managed to record a shot at the Etihad, seeing a header miss the target in the fifth minute of stoppage time, before opening the scoring for Leeds in Wednesday's win over Chelsea.
Struijk is yet to score this season, but the Dutch defender is averaging a shot per game, recording at least one in his last seven starts (10 in seven).
The 26-year-old shot twice at Man City last Saturday, trying his luck in both halves, and his sole effort in midweek came in the 16th minute.
Sunderland's Omar Alderete shot three times against Liverpool at Anfield on Wednesday, the second time in three Premier League games that an opposition centre-back has managed that feat, after Murillo recorded three efforts and scored with one in Nottingham Forest's 3-0 win at Liverpool on November 22.
Bijol and Struijk are certainly capable of registering a shot apiece at Elland Road this weekend.
