Leeds vs Bournemouth Prediction: Entertainment at Elland Road?

Leeds United secured an impressive away win at Wolves last time out, and Daniel Farke will be satisfied with the start his side have made to the new Premier League campaign. Leeds have got seven points from their first five games and if they can replicate that from now until May, they should secure survival in what is turning out to be a more interesting relegation battle in the top flight.
They host Bournemouth at Elland Road on Saturday (15:00), looking to record another home win. Below you can find my Leeds vs Bournemouth predictions featuring team news and more.

Team News
Farke gave a decent rundown of the Leeds team news at his press conference, which is always useful for preview writers such as myself.
"Mixed news. Jayden [Bogle] back in team training, nothing too serious, just a bruise. Dan James has a chance to be involved, but Willy [Gnonto] has a problem with his calf, so will miss the match."
Bogle’s return is a boost after his ankle injury at Wolves, while Gnonto doesn’t seem to be able to shake off his calf problem. Lucas Perri remains sidelined so Karl Darlow will keep his place in goal, while the rest of the team, including the front three of Noah Okafor, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Brenden Aaronson should remain unchanged after an impressive showing at Molineux.
For Bournemouth, Alex Jimenez and James Hill will battle it out for the right-back slot while Lewis Cook is unlikely to be involved against his former club after damaging his shoulder. Andoni Iraola is also without Adam Smith and Enes Unal, while Justin Kluivert is still waiting on his first Premier League start of the season.
Antoine Semenyo, Marcus Tavernier and David Brooks should keep their places as the three behind Evanilson, with Tyler Adams set to start against his former club alongside Alex Scott in midfield.
Leeds vs Bournemouth Predicted Lineups
Leeds United - Darlow; Bogle, Rodon, Struijk, Gudmundsson; Stach, Ampadu, Longstaff; Aaronson, Calvert-Lewin, Okafor
Bournemouth - Petrovic; Hill, Diakite, Senesi, Truffert; Adams, Scott; Semenyo, Tavernier, Brooks; Evanilson
Leeds are priced at 2/1 to win this game, with Bournemouth the favourites at 7/5. That gives the Cherries an implied win probability of 42% while a draw can be backed at 12/5.
Over 2.5 goals is 10/11, BTTS is 8/11 and four different players are 11/2 to open the scoring. Click above to find out who.
Leeds vs Bouremouth Stats

- The Cherries won their last meeting 4-1
- Antoine Semenyo has three goals in five PL matches
Bournemouth to win and BTTS @ 7/2
I like Farke and I do think Leeds have a decent chance of staying up this season, however Bournemouth are looking unbelievably good this season having won three and lost one in the league since they lost 4-2 at Anfield on the opening night.
Their 0-0 draw against Newcastle United last time out was not a great game for the neutral, but it pitted together two well-matched outfits, and I think they cancelled each other out. Bournemouth are looking excellent so far this term, with the attacking power they possess difficult for weaker teams to stop.
It means that Bournemouth have made their joint-best start to a Premier League campaign after five games (10 points, W3 D1 L1), along with the 10 points they picked up in 2018/19. Meanwhile, the last league match between Leeds and Bournemouth saw the Cherries win 4-1 in April 2023 in what was Javi Gracia’s final game in charge of the Whites.
Leeds have posed an attacking threat of their own this term, and Calvert-Lewin got off the mark at Molineux which will help his confidence massively. They should be able to find a goal in this fixture but I’ll back the away side to win and BTTS at a big price.

Antoine Semenyo to score anytime @ 2/1
The main man this season for Bournemouth and for FPL managers. Semenyo has looked like one of the best players in the league - with three goals and two assists in five matches so far. He is such a driving force in this Bournemouth team that I believe he will find the net at Elland Road in what should be an open and entertaining clash on Saturday.
He’s had 13 shots, five on target in the league this season, and if he can land a couple more in Yorkshire, he could well find the net. Decent price too.
