Fulham vs Crystal Palace Prediction: The Points to be shared at the Cottage

 | Sunday 7th December 2025, 6:00am

Sunday 7th December 2025, 6:00am

Not often that you score four goals at home and still end up on the losing side. Then again, Tuesday was no normal night at Craven Cottage. Marco Silva’s men were 5-1 down to Manchester City with more than half an hour remaining. 5-4 down by the time the final whistle was blown by the banks of the River Thames.

Too little too late in midweek, now the Cottagers will look to continue that purple patch of scoring form the off on Sunday. They welcome crosstown rivals Crystal Palace through their doors and with the Eagles picking up a more sedate win at Burnley on Wednesday, they will now be keen to land back-to-back league victories. Sky Sports Main Event from 16:30 and Dan's Fulham vs Crystal Palace Predictions are below...

Team News

After scoring twice in the nine-goal thriller with Manchester City, Samuel Chukwueze will have made a very strong case to be in the starting eleven against Crystal Palace. The AC Milan loanee came on for Sander Berge in that defeat, with Alex Iwobi then taking a deeper role in central midfield.

Should Chukwueze get the nod, it would likely mean that compatriot Iwobi will once again be tasked with playing behind former Arsenal teammate Emile Smith Rowe in the centre of the park. A decision that will also mean that Fulham starlet Josh King will have to once again start from the bench.

While Crystal Palace have no obvious changes to make after their narrow 1-0 win at Burnley on Wednesday. Jefferson Lerma started in midfield alongside Adam Wharton and if manager Oliver Glasner has any decision to weigh up, it is whether to insert Will Hughes in the starting eleven instead.

Admittedly the absence of Ismalia Sarr will something that Glasner will rue but the attacking trio of Yeremy Pino, Daichi Kamada and Jean-Philippe Mateta will be licking their lips at the prospect of facing a Fulham defence that was tortured on Tuesday.

Fulham vs Crystal Palace Predicted Lineups

  • Fulham: Leno, Tete, Andersen, Bassey, Sessegnon; Berge, Iwobi, Wilson, Smith Rowe, Chukwueze, Jimenez
  • Crystal Palace: Henderson, Munoz, Lacroix, Guehi, Richards, Mitchell, Lerma, Wharton, Pino, Kamada, Mateta

Fulham vs Crystal Palace Odds

Fulham are priced as favourites at 8/5 to win this game, with Crystal Palace priced slightly longer at 9/5. That gives the home team an implied win probability of 38.5% while a draw can be backed at 9/4.

BTTS has been priced at 4/5 and over 2.5 goals is 11/10, while Jean-Philippe Mateta is the favourite to score first at 4/1.

Fulham vs Crystal Palace Stats

  • Fulham have won four of their seven home league games (D1 L2)
  • Crystal Palace are undefeated in their last 6 away matches against Fulham in all competitions.

Draw @ 9/4

With a midweek schedule taking place just a few days ago, there is always the concern as to how leggy teams will be at the weekend and especially at this time of year. Fulham breathless after pushing Manchester City so close. Crystal Palace having 24 hours less to recover before they enter Craven Cottage.

Not only that but when you look at the odds for either team to win – the hosts at 8/5 and the visitors 9/5, the fact that neither are priced less than Evens suggests that even Betfred themselves are not overly confident in backing a winner. If I see both sides priced above Evens my general rule is back the draw and this is precisely what I will be doing before kick-off.

Jean-Philippe Mateta To Score Anytime @11/8

Contract talks reportedly stalling as far as Crystal Palace and Jean-Philippe Mateta are concerned, the 28-year-old even linked with a move away from South London in January. If I was Steve Parish, I would prepare to give the French forward whatever wage he wants (within reason of course).

Then again, it is not up to me to decide who earns what at Selhurst Park, it is my job to help you earn some money before the end of the week. Mateta has scored seven goals in 14 league appearances this season. A goal every other game. He fired a blank at Burnley in his last outing, I am backing him to get on the scoresheet at Fulham.
