Team News
Jack Grealish would have been unable to play against his parent club should he have been fit, but the winger has already been ruled out for the rest of the season after having foot surgery.
Jarrad Branthwaite is also a long-term absentee with a thigh injury, but Beto should return to the side here after completing concussion protocol following a blow to the head in the Merseyside derby.
As for City, Guardiola has revealed that Rodri is 'getting better' but the Spaniard remains a doubt for the trip to Merseyside, and centre-backs Ruben Dias and Josko Gvardiol are still absent.

Everton vs Manchester City Odds
Everton are 11/2 for Monday's match, with the draw priced up at 7/2 and City are 1/2 favourites, giving them an implied win probability of 66.7%.
The league's top goalscorer, Erling Haaland, is unsurprisingly the favourite to score anytime at 3/5, while both teams to score - yes is 8/11.
Everton vs Manchester City Stats
- Everton haven't beaten Manchester City since January 2017
- City have won their last six matches, scoring 12 goals in the last five
Match Result - Draw @ 7/2
City are firmly locked in a battle with Arsenal for the Premier League title, and have been almost perfect since the turn of the year, winning 15 and drawing three of their last 18 matches to drag themselves back into the race for league glory. A domestic treble is also on the cards after wrapping up the Carabao Cup against the Gunners in March, before booking their place in the FA Cup final after defeating Southampton last weekend.
However, unlike previous editions of Guardiola's City machine, this version is suspect to a slip-up, as evidenced by home draws to Nottingham Forest and away to West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur.
Even in the recent win over Burnley, and the aforementioned FA Cup semi-final against Southampton, City made hard work of it, wasting plenty of chances.
City have the league title in their sights, and have been in this position so many times before, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them drop points here.

Erling Haaland to have 2+ shots on target @ 4/7
Erling Haaland's scoring touch has been a crucial factor in City's chase for the title.
The Norwegian has scored 24 goals in 32 league appearances and comes into this game with five goals in his last four domestic starts. Across those four matches, Haaland is averaging two shots on target per game, showing his consistent threat in front of goal.
In addition, City's number nine has had previous success in this fixture, scoring twice from four shots on target in last season's fixture against David Moyes' men.
