Chelsea vs Nottingham Forest Odds

Double Chance - Nottingham Forest or draw

Chelsea received a much-needed boost with their FA Cup semi-final win over Leeds United, but Nottingham Forest have hit form at just the right time in their bid to stay in the Premier League.

Just one defeat in their last 11 has seen Forest progress to the semi-finals of the Europa League, as well as climb up to 16th in the Premier League and five points clear of the drop zone.

Forest have scored 13 goals in their last four league games, including five without reply at Sunderland last time out and they are worth backing in the double-chance market.

Chelsea's form, while it may steady under McFarlane, isn't reliable in terms of backing them on the match result market. The Blues do boast a strong record in this fixture, going unbeaten in their last four matches against Forest and losing just two of their last 15 meetings overall. However, I'm going back Forest-draw double chance as the Tricky Trees are in better form.

Chelsea vs Nottingham Forest Stats

  • Chelsea are unbeaten in their last four against Forest
  • Forest have tasted defeat just once in their last 11 matches across all competitions

Over 2.5 goals

Recent matches involving both sides suggest that this could be a high-scoring affair - over 2.5 goals has landed in seven of Chelsea's last 10 matches.

Half of the last six meetings between these two sides have also seen at least three goals scored, and Forest have scored 15 goals across their last five Premier League matches, including the aforementioned five-goal demolition of Sunderland.

Moises Caicedo to shown a card anytime

Chelsea's combative midfielder looks a tempting pick to find his way into the referee's notebook here.

The 24-year-old was carded in Chelsea’s FA Cup semi-final win over Leeds and has received either a yellow or red card in over 34% of his Premier League appearances this season.

Caicedo commits an average of 1.5 fouls per game, and committed a foul in the reverse fixture against Forest. The Tricky Trees pose prominent threat on the counter attack, which could see the Ecuador international cautioned.
