Chelsea vs Aston Villa Prediction: Villa great value for 11th win

It’s the game of the weekend in the Premier League in my humble opinion, as Chelsea host the winning machine that is Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge (17:30 GMT, Sky Sports Main Event).
Below you can find my Chelsea vs Aston Villa predictions as the Blues try to stop Unai Emery’s men from making it 11 wins in a row.

Team News
Enzo Maresca will be hoping he can call upon wide man Estevao again, after he missed the last two games with a muscle issue. Maresca has said both Estevao and Delap, could be available for Saturday.
Centre-back Levi Colwill and midfielder Romeo Lavia are out, so Maresca must decide whether to continue with Reece James in midfield, or bring £100m man Enzo Fernandez back into the starting XI.
Jadon Sancho could feature against the club in which he played for last season on loan, having missed out against parent club Manchester United last time out.
Morgan Rogers will start on the left having bagged a brace in that win, while Unai Emery is going to be tempted to name an unchanged XI if possible, with Ollie Watkins set to edge out Donyell Malen once again up front.
Chelsea vs Aston Villa Predicted Lineups
- Chelsea - Sanchez; James, Chalobah, Fofana, Cucurella; Caicedo, Fernandez; Neto, Palmer, Garnacho; Pedro
- Aston Villa - Martinez; Cash, Konsa, Lindelof, Maatsen; Kamara, Onana; McGinn, Tielemans, Rogers; Watkins
Chelsea are priced at 9/10 to win this game, with Aston Villa the rank outsiders at 16/5. A draw is up at 11/4, over 2.5 goals is 8/11 and Cole Palmer is the favourite to score first at 9/2.
Chelsea vs Aston Villa Stats
- Aston Villa have won their last 10 games in a row
- 10 of Villa's 27 goals this season have come from outside the box
Aston Villa to win @ 16/5
I’m staggered by the price of Aston Villa to win this game. I wasn’t going to back them to do so until I saw that they were around 3/1 to do so - which is absolutely baffling for a team that has now won 10 games in a row. 10! Imagine the price that Chelsea would be if they had been on a similar winning run?
Emery is a genius and this squad just keeps defying the odds, so let’s back them to do it again. Chelsea have an awful lot of talent, and they can certainly win this game, but they shouldn’t be odds-on favourites to do so, so I’m more than happy to back against them.

Morgan Rogers to score from outside the area @ 18/1
Rogers is proving himself to be one of the best players in the league. He scored two belting goals against Manchester United, both from just inside the area - but 10 of Villa’s 27 goals this term have come from outside the area, the highest total in the division.
Emery actively encourages shots from range and with such excellent ball-strikers… why not! Rogers now has seven goals in 17 PL appearances, and I think he is a massive price to find the net from outside the box. We are going big on Villa in this one.
