Arsenal are absolutely flying right now and they even downed Bayern Munich in the Champions League in midweek. They sit six points clear at the top of the Premier League and next up, they travel to take on second-placed Chelsea on Sunday (16:30, Sky Sports Main Event).

Arsenal to win
I think it’s time to start labeling Arsenal what they are. The best team in England, and quite possibly after their midweek showing, the best team in Europe. I see no reason why they won’t now canter to the Premier League title, with Manchester City still seven points behind at this stage of the campaign, and current holders Liverpool on a wild losing run.
Chelsea enjoyed a thumping win over Barcelona in their midweek fixture, and clearly they are a threat this season. They sit second in the league after winning their last three league games to nil, but I just think Arsenal are a level above and will take another major step towards the title on Sunday.
Eberechi Eze 1+ shot on target
Eze’s shot stats in the Premier League are certainly notable, and he’s already made himself a crucial player in this Arsenal side. The derby day hat-trick against Tottenham was the perfect way for him to win favour with the Gunners, and I’m sure he will be looking to back it up again here.
I won’t back him to score, but instead just to get a shot on target. So far, he has had 31 shots, or 3.51 per 90 in the Premier League, while 12 of those have been on target (1.36 per 90). Another shot on goal will see this part of the bet land as a winner.
Chelsea vs Arsenal Bet Builder Stats
- Eze is averaging 1.36 SOT per 90
- Cucurella is averaging 2.46 tackles per 90
- Arsenal have had more corners than the opposition in every PL match this season
Marc Cucurella 1+ tackle
Marc Cucurella will be up against Bukayo Saka on Sunday and I think we should be able to rely on him to make a tackle. He 2.46 tackles per 90 minutes in the league this season and up against one of the best wingers in the league, he is going to be in for a busy afternoon. That figure puts him in the 85th percentile in terms of tackles made, so I’m pretty confident in this selection.
Arsenal most corners
I was looking for a market to boost our odds here, and I stumbled upon the most corners market. Now, I believe Arsenal will win this game, and I was intrigued to discover that they have had more corners than their opponents in every Premier League match so far this season. Given their set-piece dominance, that makes some sense, and I can’t see it changing at Stamford Bridge. Our Bet Builder pays 9/2.
