Burnley vs Tottenham Prediction: Home comforts for Anthony?

Burnley host Tottenham Hotspur at Turf Moor on Saturday afternoon (15:00 GMT) with both sides in desperate need of a win.
The Clarets remain in the relegation zone but they snapped a seven-game winless run by earning a 1-1 draw at Anfield last weekend, while Spurs arrive in Lancashire without a victory in their last four league outings. Read on for my Burnley vs Tottenham predictions, as well as the latest team news and match odds.

Team News
Josh Cullen recently sustained an ACL injury so he joins fellow Burnley teammates Jordan Beyer, Connor Roberts, Mike Tresor and Zeki Amdouni on the treatment table.
Ex-Spurs man Kyle Walker is set to start against his former side, while Marcus Edwards, who used to be part of the Tottenham academy, is looking to score in consecutive games for the first time since August 2022 after his goal at Anfield last weekend.
As for Spurs, Lucas Bergvall is facing another spell on the sidelines after injuring his ankle in the Champions League tie against Borussia Dortmund in midweek.
Ben Davies, Dejan Kulusevski, James Maddison, Rodrigo Bentancur, Mohammed Kudus and Richarlison all remain notable absentees for the visitors.

Burnley vs Tottenham Stats
- Burnley are winless in their last 14 Premier League matches
- Tottenham are unbeaten in their last 13 Premier League away games against promoted sides
Tottenham to win @ 21/20
Yes, Spurs are in poor form, domestically at least, heading to Turf Moor, but it's been a long time since Burnley won a Premier League game.
The Clarets' last triumph in the top flight was October 26, meaning that Scott Parker's men have gone 13 games without tasting victory. They've been harder to beat to be fair, sharing the spoils in four of their last six league assignments - the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool are included in that run.
Spurs will have gained some confidence from a 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League in midweek, and Thomas Frank has reiterated to his side that performance can't be a one-off.
I'm expecting Spurs to kick on this weekend, so let's back them to bag all three points at Turf Moor.

Jaidon Anthony to score anytime @ 16/5
I'm backing a Spurs win but I don't think it'll come easily for Frank's side.
As stated above, the Clarets have developed some defensive steel in recent weeks and have started to pick up a few points here and there - and regardless of Liverpool's struggles this season, going to Anfield and coming from behind to claim a point certainly isn't to be scoffed at.
One man who could make life hard for Spurs on Saturday is Jaidon Anthony. The winger has five goals in the Premier League for Burnley this term, and he's scored in back-to-back games at Turf Moor against Man Utd and Milwall. At 16/5, he's certainly worth considering this weekend.
