Brentford vs Leeds Prediction: Both Teams to Score but Bees with be Buzzing

Brentford will be glad that they are not only at home on Sunday but they do not have to face North London-based opposition on the road either. Short trips to both Arsenal and Tottenham recently have ended up leaving Keith Andrews’ men empty-handed, they will look to give Leeds short shrift at the GTech.
While visitors Leeds have also had their own home comforts in the past ten days or so and with Daniel Farke’s men picking up a win over Chelsea and a dramatic share of the points with Liverpool at Elland Road, the West Yorkshire outfit will now aim to continue their momentum in West London. Team News
With Kevin Schade ruled out through suspension, Brentford's smooth operation in attack will be disjointed on Sunday. The German picked up a fifth yellow card in last Saturday's 2-0 loss at Tottenham and therefore, Keane Lewis-Potter is the likely candidate to start out on the left.
While there is also a decision to be made further back and with Kristoffer Ajer deployed at left back in that same reverse to Spurs, he may make way for Scottish defender Aaron Hickey this weekend. The versatile 23-year-old has had an ongoing battle with fitness but could win the battle to against Leeds.
As for the visitors, their main injury concern surrounds the fitness of forward of Lukas Nmecha. The former Wolfsburg star turns 27 on Sunday and will look to turn his current hamstring injury into a full bill of birthday fitness - a sentiment that will also be shared by his manager Daniel Farke.
Nmecha had scored in three successive Premier League games before his injury and although he and fellow forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin have started slowly this season, the pair are now starting to build a profitable partnership in attack.
Brentford vs Leeds Predicted Lineups
- Brentford: Kelleher, Kayode, van den Berg, Collins, Hickey, Henderson, Yarmolyuk, Ouattara, Damsgaard, Lewis-Potter, Thiago
- Leeds: Perri, Bogle, Strujik, Rodon, Bijol, Gudmundsson, Ampadu, Gruev, Stach, Calvert-Lewin, Okafor
Brentford are priced as favourites at 19/20 to win this game, with Leeds the outsiders at 3/1. That gives the home team an implied win probability of 51.3% while a draw can be backed at 13/5.
BTTS has been priced at 8/11 and over 2.5 goals is 10/11, while Igor Thiago is the favourite to score first at 7/2.

Brentford win and BTTS to score @ 11/4
Brentford have only lost once at home this season in the Premier League. Leeds have only won once away from Elland Road during the same spell. That alone gives a huge indication as to where my focus lies before the game gets underway on Sunday.
However, there is another underlying stat that forms the basis of my first tip and with the Bees failing to keep a home clean sheet since their first outing at the GTech back in August - a 1-0 win over Aston Villa, I think maximum points at the cost of a second home shutout is where the value lies for the Bees.

20-35 Bookings Points @ 13/8
I am also keen to take a look at the disciplinary records of the two sides and when it comes to teams that you would consider aggressive, I would not be in a rush to place Brentford or Leeds in that category. The Bees average two yellow cards per game, their opponents 1.73 by comparison.
Therefore, I do not expect the GTech to be an all-out war in terms of tackling on Sunday. Referee John Brooks will not necessarily be a spare part in this encounter but he will not the main part either. With this in mind, I have opted for the game to finish with no more than 35 booking points (10 per yellow card, leaving a maximum of three all game for me to play with).
