Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace Odds
Bournemouth to win
I think we have to lean in favour of the home side based on Palace’s European exploits. Oliver Glasner will be prioritising another trophy before he departs, and with no threat of relegation, he should rest players for that second leg, even with a two-goal advantage.
Selhurt Park will be rocking on Thursday night, while Bournemouth are pushing for a top-six finish and are unbeaten in their last 14 league outings. Andoni Iraola is also departing at the end of the season but this AFCB team now look like they will continue their rise under incoming boss Marco Rose.
They should win this entertaining encounter on balance.
Rayan to score anytime
Pretty good isn’t he. Antoine Semenyo’s January departure may have raised a few eyebrows, but his replacement Rayan joined for £24.7m in January from Vasco da Gama and has already scored three Premier League goals in eleven games, contributing a further two assists.
He looks extremely dangerous every time he gets the ball, and has had a total of 11 shots on target since joining the Cherries. He scored off the bench against Leeds last week and he should start this one. Decent price to find the net again.
Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace Stats
- Bournemouth are unbeaten in 14 Premier League games
- Strand Larsen has 10 goals this term
- Lerma has six yellows in 15 PL starts
Jorgen Strand Larsen to score anytime
Did you see Jorgen Strand Larsen’s goal for Palace in midweek? It was a remarkable display of composure and finishing as he rounded off a wonderful night for the visitors - his best moment in a Palace shirt so far.
He joined from Wolves in January, and has 10 goals in all competitions this term. Given he only played 20 minutes off the bench against Shakhtar, I’d expect him to start ahead of Jean-Philippe Mateta in this Premier League tie, and fancy him to find the net again.
Jefferson Lerma to get booked
Another man who should come inot the Palace team if Glasner rotates as expected, Jefferson Lerma is a prime candidate for a card. He’s got six in 26 PL appearances this season, which is impressive when you consider just 15 of those have been starts.
He should be fresh and ready to start on the South Coast, so I’ll back him to get a card which takes our Bet Builder to 18/1.
