Arsenal vs Crystal Palace Prediction: Gunners to fire in high-scoring win

Arsenal have taken control at the top of the Premier League and the challenge of staying ahead of their title rivals continues with an Emirates tie against Crystal Palace. The Gunners blasted four goals past Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday and Mikel Arteta’s men were certainly at the top of their game.
Palace suffered a shock 1-0 defeat to AEK Larnaca on Thursday night, but the Eagles remain a dangerous and talented team.

Team News
Defender Gabriel is a major doubt after picking up an injury against Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night and missing training this week.
Cristhian Mosquera is likely to deputise for Gabriel, while Noni Madueke, Martin Odegaard, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus remain sidelined.
Caleb Kporha, Cheick Doucoure and Chadi Riad are out for the visitors, but manager Oliver Glasner is likely to reinstate the likes of Adam Wharton and Chris Richards, who started the midweek Conference League tie on the bench.

Arsenal vs Crystal Palace Team Stats
Past 25 meetings;
Arsenal wins 15, Palace 3, and 7 draws.
Goals in the those 25 matches - Arsenal 54, Palace 30.
Arsenal to win & over 2.5 goals @ 11/10
Arsenal’s approach has taken some criticism this season and, while long throws and set plays aren’t the most attractive ways to create chances, they are just further strings to the Gunners’ bow.
Mikel Arteta hammered Atletico Madrid 4-0 on Tuesday night and the north Londoners have also beaten Nottingham Forest 3-0 and Leeds 5-0 this term.
Those are certainly not the results of a one-dimensional side and the Gunners are fancied to down Palace in a high-scoring contest.
The Eagles were involved in a wild 3-3 draw with Bournemouth in their most recent Premier League tie and Glasner’s side will carry a threat at the Emirates.
However, the south Londoners may struggle to keep the Gunners at bay and Arsenal should be too strong at the Emirates.

Eberechi Eze to score at any time @ 2/1
Odegaard’s injury has given Eberechi Eze a run of games at the top of Arsenal’s midfield and the former Palace man can strike against his former club.
The England international has scored only one goal for the Gunners, but the 27-year-old is averaging 3.53 shots per 90 minutes in the Premier League this season and that suggests there could be more to come from Eze.
