Premier League Stats: AFC Bournemouth vs Brentford can deliver entertainment

There are five Premier League matches on offer this Saturday in the final weekend before the March international break. There aren't too many glamorous fixtures on offer but the pick of the bunch is AFC Bournemouth vs Brentford (17:30, Sky Sports Main Event).
I've put together this pack of Premier League stats for each game so that you are given a helping hand when considering bets for any of these fixtures.
Everton vs West Ham United
David Moyes has done an excellent job since rejoining Everton in January. He has lost just one of the nine league matches he has overseen and that came against Aston Villa in his first game back.
The Toffees welcome West Ham United to Goodison Park on Saturday (15:00). Both teams have won two fixtures apiece in the last five league meetings, with the last one being a goalless draw at the London Stadium back in November.
Moyes has pulled Everton away from relegation danger and they are currently 16 points clear of the bottom three. The Toffees are 23/20 to win on home turf against the Hammers, which looks attractive as the visitors have lost two of their last four away trips in the top flight.
Everton vs West Ham United Stats
- Everton are unbeaten in their last eight PL matches
- Everton are fourth in the form table in that period with 16 points
- Carlos Alcaraz (EVE) has been booked in his last two matches
Before Moyes took over from Sean Dyche in January, Everton forward Beto had just one goal in the Premier League this term. He has scored five in the nine games in which Moyes has been in the dugout. The Toffees boss looks to be getting the best out of the former Udinese man and he has developed into a consistent goal threat. He is the 13/8 favourite to score anytime on Saturday.
Another goalscorer worth looking at is Jarrod Bowen for West Ham. The winger is currently tasked with leading the line for the Hammers because of injuries to Michail Antonio and Niclas Fullkrug.
The attacker has seven goals in the top flight and two have come in his past five appearances. Interestingly, each of his last three goals in the Premier League have come away from home. He is 11/4 to strike anytime at Goodison.
When it comes to bookings, Everton's Carlos Alcaraz looks enticing as the Argentine midfielder has been booked in Everton's last two games (his first two of the season) and he is never one to shy away from a challenge.

Ipswich Town vs Nottingham Forest
Survival is looking that much harder for Ipswich Town. They are six points adrift of safety and are having to cope with several injuries at the moment. The Tractor Boys are winless in their previous nine outings in the Premier League as they bid to welcome Champions League-chasing Nottingham Forest to Portman Road on Saturday (15:00).
The Tricky Trees bounced back from a three-game winless run with an emphatic 1-0 triumph at home against Manchester City last weekend. They sit third in the table and now have a four-point cushion on the reigning champions.
Forest beat Ipswich 1-0 in the reverse fixture at the City Ground back in November, with Chris Wood scoring from the penalty spot. The New Zealand striker is the 23/20 favourite to score anytime at Portman Road. Eight of his 18 goals in the league have come on his travels this campaign, too.
You can get 1/1 on Forest to win this game, which they have managed in four of their past seven away trips in the top flight. It is also worth noting that they are coming up against the team with the second-worst home record in the division with just seven points from 14 matches.
Ipswich vs Nottingham Forest Stats
- Nottingham Forest have won five away games to nil
- Chris Wood scored against Ipswich in the reverse fixture at the City Ground and eight of his goals have come on the road
- Liam Delap (IPS) has committed more fouls (60) than any other PL player
Five of Forest's seven away wins this term have been to nil and they are 12/5 to prevail without conceding on Saturday.
In terms of bookings, Ipswich forward Liam Delap appears the most attractive player to go into the book at 7/4. The former Manchester City man has been carded nine times already this season in the Premier League, and a 10th would accrue a two-game suspension for the Tractor Boys' top scorer (10 goals).
Delap has committed more fouls (60) than any other player in the division, so this could be a shrewd selection.

Manchester City vs Brighton & Hove Albion
Manchester City are facing a tough battle in their pursuit of qualifying for next season's Champions League, and it won't get any easier against an in-form Brighton & Hove Albion side who have won six in a row in all competitions.
The Seagulls have beaten the Citizens already this term when they came from behind to win 2-1 at the Amex back in November, during City's four-game losing streak. Brighton could be in line to inflict more misery on Pep Guardiola's side and they are 18/5 to win on Saturday.
City are unbeaten in four of their previous five games at the Etihad in the top flight, though, but you can get draw or Brighton at 6/5.
Manchester City vs Brighton & Hove Albion Stats
- Brighton have won six games in a row across all competitions
- Manchester City have won three of their last four home matches in the PL
- Joao Pedro (BHA) has scored in three consecutive matches
In terms of goalscorers, Erling Haaland leads the way in the markets having scored 20 already for Man City in the Premier League. The Norwegian has four goals in his last six appearances in the league and he is 4/5 to score anytime on Saturday.
If you are seeking better value, I'd take a look at Brighton's Joao Pedro at 23/10. The attacker has eight goals for himself in the top flight, and he has netted three in as many games coming into this.

Southampton vs Wolverhampton Wanderers
Southampton appear to be a lost cause in the battle for Premier League survival. They are 14 points adrift of safety and have just two wins all season. They will look to disrupt the survival strategy of Wolverhampton Wanderers when they meet at St Mary's on Saturday.
Consistency has been an issue for the visitors this term but they should back themselves to gain a valuable three points against the worst team in the division. The only snag, they are without their top scorer Matheus Cunha due to suspension.
Wolves are 11/10 to collect the three points on the South Coast and they won their last away game, which also came from this part of the world as they snatched a surprise 1-0 win at AFC Bournemouth. Meanwhile, Southampton have lost four games in a row.
Southampton vs Wolverhampton Wanderers Stats
- Over 3.5 goals has struck in eight of Southampton's last nine PL games
- Only two players have picked up more yellow cards than Flynn Downes (SOU) this term (nine)
- Both teams have scored in three of Wolves' past four matches in the league
The Saints have the worst defensive record in the division this season with 68 goals conceded, and over 3.5 goals has been a successful bet in eight of their last nine encounters. This market is available at 21/10.
Both teams were on the score in six of those games, and this has also been a successful bet in three of Wolves' last four outings in the Premier League. BTTS is on offer at 8/11 in this clash.

AFC Bournemouth vs Brentford
The most eye-catching game of the day comes from the Vitality Stadium as Bournemouth host Brentford. These are two teams who have had a lot of joy in front of goal this term with 47 and 48 respectively.
The Cherries are gunning for European football and are in a strong position to accomplish that. Brentford are just six points behind them, though and a victory here could pull them into the mix.
The Bees won a five-goal thriller when the two teams met back in November and they are 100/30 to do the double over their hosts.
Over 3.5 goals has been a winning selection in 10 of Bournemouth's league matches this term, as well as in 12 of Brentford's. You can back this market at 11/10 for Saturday.
AFC Bournemouth vs Brentford Stats
- Justin Kluivert (BOU) has 12 goals in the Premier League
- Brentford have won their last four away games in the league
- Antoine Semenyo (BOU) has three bookings in his previous four PL outings
Bournemouth's Justin Kluivert has scored 12 goals in the Premier League in 2024/25 and he was on the scoresheet when the two teams met earlier in the campaign. He could be an attractive scorer bet at 7/5 (anytime).
Brentford have two potent attackers of their own in Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa, who have 15 and 13 goals respectively in the top flight. Mbeumo is 15/8 to strike anytime for the Bees, while Wissa is priced at an enticing 2/1.
In terms of bookings, there is one player who stands out for me, in the sense that he is perhaps someone you wouldn't think is getting booked regularly at the moment. Bournemouth's Antoine Semenyo has been booked eight times this season and three have come in the last four matches.
The former Bristol City man is two from two against Brighton and Tottenham Hotspur coming into this, so he could be a smart pick up at 7/2.
