Poland and Sweden haven't played each other since April 2021, but a first meeting in over four years will take place at the Uefa Women's European Championship on Tuesday (20:00 BST, BBC One), as they face off at St. Jakob-Park in Basel, Switzerland.

Below are my Poland vs Sweden Bet Builder Tips as I serve up a 10/1 four-fold for your perusal.

Poland vs Sweden Bet Builder Tips

  • Handicap 3 Way 1.0 - Sweden
  • Both Teams to Score - No
  • Player to Score at Anytime - Filippa Angeldal (SWE)

Handicap 3 Way 1.0 - Sweden

Poland were favourites to finish bottom of Group C at the start of the tournament, and they showed nothing in their first game to suggest they should be thought of as anything otherwise.

Germany beat the Poles 2-0 in St. Gallen, recording 25 shots to their opponents' 10, and dominating the possession statistics 71%-29%.

Poland lost all six of their Euro 2025 League A qualifiers, suffering home and away defeats to Germany, Iceland and Austria, shipping 17 goals and scoring just four times.

Poland vs Sweden Odds

Sweden, meanwhile, edged past Denmark in their opening match, winning 1-0, but racked up 18 shots to the Danes' 10.

Blagult have been victorious in their last three games, all since the start of June, winning the first two, against Denmark in the Uefa Nations League and against Norway in a friendly, 6-1 and 2-0, respectively.

They're unbeaten in their last 13 matches, last tasting defeat in July last year, and of the nine they have won in that run, six have been by a two-goal margin or greater, which is what we need to land the first leg of this Bet Builder.

Poland will be aware that collecting all three points on Tuesday is crucial for their qualification hopes, so expect to see them go all-out attack late on if they are on level terms, and particularly if they are behind.

I expect Sweden to take control of the contest, getting into the lead, and from there, they should have the opportunity to add to their tally as the Poles push forward.

Both Teams to Score - No

Poland struggled to create many clear-cut opportunities against Germany, hitting the target with just two of their 10 shots, and failing to get on the scoresheet.

Sweden had no such problems in scoring against Denmark, making the breakthrough in the 55th minute, and they held on to their advantage, shutting out the Danish attack to record a clean sheet, the third in their last four games.

Italy and Norway have also been kept out this calendar year, while in their Euro 2025 promotion group, they posted four clean sheets from four, stopping Luxembourg and Serbia from scoring home and away.

Today's Football Fixtures

Sweden were also pretty solid in League A, with Ireland blanking in back-to-back matches against them, and England failing to breach their defence in Goteborg.

In total, the Swedes conceded just four times - the best defensive record of a group also containing France.

I fancy Poland to blank again, and for their opponents to make it back-to-back clean sheets in Switzerland.

Poland vs Sweden Bet Builder Stats

  • Sweden are unbeaten in their last 13 games (W9, D4)
  • Sweden have won six of those matches by a margin of at least two goals
  • Filippa Angeldal (SWE) has scored in her last three internationals
  • Over 10.5 corners landed in both Group C games last Friday

Player to Score at Anytime - Filippa Angeldal (SWE)

Filippa Angeldal was the hero for Sweden against Denmark, scoring the only goal of the game in Geneva, which was her third consecutive strike for her country following efforts last month against Denmark and Norway.

The 27-year-old now has 23 goals in 75 caps, with five of those strikes coming in her last seven internationals.

Angeldal wasn't prolific in the WSL for Manchester City, netting just twice across three campaigns, but she joined Real Madrid at the start of 2024/25 and struck four times in 28 Liga F appearances.

Three of those goals came across back-to-back matches against Real Betis and Madrid CFF at the end of April, as she notched once against the former and bagged a brace against the latter.

She now has seven goals across her last 12 outings for club and country, making her great value in the anytime market on Tuesday at 21/10.

Football Odds

Total Corners Over/Under 10.5 - Over

Group C was full of corners last Friday, as 12 were taken between Denmark and Sweden, and 11 were recorded between Germany and Poland.

Sweden (eight) accounted for two-thirds of the corners won in their game, the sixth time in their last seven matches that they had taken 7+ corners.

Poland only took four of the 11 awarded between themselves and Germany, and I'm expecting the Poles to be on the receiving end again on Tuesday, although they can win a few to make sure the overall count pushes past 10.5.
