All is not well at Western Sydney Wanderers, whose head coach Marko Rudan refused to face up to the media after his side's 7-0 humbling at the hands of Melbourne City last weekend, their third defeat on the spin. They now face a trip to western Australia to face Perth Glory, who are unbeaten in their last four games at HBF Park.

Ahead of this 08:45 kick-off on Saturday we have detailed all the latest team news and match odds for this Australian A-League Men's match, and offered our Perth Glory vs Western Sydney Wanderers prediction.

Perth Glory vs Western Sydney Wanderers Betting Tips

  • Perth Glory to win and both teams to score @ 11/4
  • Adam Taggart to score first @ 7/2

Team News

Glory head coach Alan Stajcic has confirmed that Mark Beevers is in contention to return from his knee injury on Saturday, but fellow defender Aleks Sunsjar will miss out as a result of a groin issue.

Jarrod Carluccio will also be forced to watch on due to the terms of his loan agreement, which prevent him from playing against his parent club.

WSW will be boosted by the return of captain Marcelo, who was suspended last weekend.

Match Odds

Perth Glory are slight favourites for the win on Saturday at 11/8, with a victory for the struggling visitors priced at 6/4. The draw can be backed at 5/2 and it's 2/5 for both teams to score.

Perth Glory to win and both teams to score @ 11/4

The Glory have lost just three of their 10 home games this season and none of their last four, while the Wanderers have lost three of their last four away from home and have a poor record in WA, claiming maximum points on only two of their last 16 league visits there.

The hosts should be able to prey on the vulnerabilities of their opponents, who appear to be in crisis.

That shouldn't stop them from getting a goal of their own though, with WSW scoring in eight of their last 10 matches.

Adam Taggart to score first @ 7/2

This is a selection I successfully backed before Glory played Brisbane Roar at home last month, with the 30-year-old taking just 24 minutes to get his name on the scoresheet in that game.

That was the fifth time this season that Taggart had opened the scoring, and there's good reason to back him to do it on a sixth occasion this weekend.

WSW are a shambles defensively at the moment, conceding 14 across their last three matches, and that should be music to the ears of Taggart, who has been further boosted by a recall to the Australia national team earlier this week.
