Pafos have been one of the surprise packages in European football this term as they qualified for the Champions League by beating Maccabi Tel Aviv, Dynamo Kyiv and Crvena zvezda in qualifying to make it to the league phase.

Their biggest test is the one that awaits on Tuesday night (20:00, TNT Sports 7), as they host Bayern Munich at Alphamega Stadium. Below you can find my Pafos vs Bayern Munich predictions featuring the latest odds and team news.

Team News

Pafos are unlikely to want to make too many changes from the team that battled well to earn a 0-0 draw with Olympiakos in matchday one. However, Bruno Felipe was sent off in that game and is therefore suspended, with Ognjen Mimovic the most natural replacement at right-back.

Ken Sema, formerly of Watford, started last time out and will hope to feature again from the off, while Landry Dimata scored an injury-time winner in that 2-1 win but may have to settle for a place on the bench. Birmingham City’s former midfielder Ivan Sunjic is sure to start in midfield, while David Luiz (yep, that one), is set to start at centre-back having been rested in that recent league victory.

Football Odds

Bayern Munich are in remarkable form, and it will be interesting to see how many changes, if any, Vincent Kompany makes for this one. They are clearly the stronger team and should win, with the deadly front four of Harry Kane, Luis Diaz, Serge Gnabry and Michael Olise smashing all comers right now.

Nicolas Jackson and the wonderfully-named 17-year-old Wisdom Mike will hope for more minutes, while Joshua Kimmich could come back into the midfield. Kim Min-jae could feature in defence if either Dayot Upamecano or Jonathan Tah are rested.

Pafos vs Bayern Munich Predicted Lineups

  • Pafos - Michael; Mimovic, Luckassen, Luiz, Correia; Sunjic, Goldar, Pepe; Jaja, Sema, Dragomir
  • Bayern Munich - Neuer; Laimer, Min-jae, Tah, Guerreiro; Kimmich, Pavlovic; Olise, Gnabry, Diaz; Kane

Today's Football Fixtures

Pafos vs Bayern Munich Odds

Pafos are the 22/1 outsiders for this fixture which means that Bayern Munich are the heavy favourites at 1/8. That gives the German giants an implied win probability of 89% while a draw is 17/2.

Bayern secured a 3-1 win over Chelsea in their Champions League opener and over 2.5 goals is 4/11 to come in again here, while BTTS is 5/4. Kane, unsurprisingly, is just 2/1 to score first and 4/9 to score anytime, although Betfred have done a Kane 3+ goals Price Boost at 9/1 if you want to back the Englishman.

Pafos vs Bayern Munich Stats

  • Bayern Munich have won all eight games in 2025/26
  • Bayern have averaged 4.4 goals per Bundesliga game
  • Harry Kane has scored 15 goals in eight games this term

Price Boost - Bayern Munich win to nil, Kane to score and assist a goal @ 10/1

I’ve actually been really impressed with Pafos this season. They’ve been tough to break down, won four from five in the league and their experienced players do seem to be greatly contributing to their success. However, this is likely to be a reality check for them, as Bayern come to town.

Kompany’s side have arguably been the best team in Europe in 2025/26, and right now the 10/1 available on them to win the Champions League looks very promising indeed. Bayern are seemingly a goalscoring machine that simply cannot be stopped. They've won five from five in the Bundesliga - scoring a ridiculous 22 goals along the way, which means they are averaging 4.4 goals per league fixture. In Europe, they comfortably stuck three past Chelsea, while they have also won eight games in a row in all competitions in 2025/26.

With that quality, it’s hard to argue for anything other than a massive Bayern win, inspired by Kane. The England captain has scored 15 goals in eight games in all competitions this season and no, that isn’t a typo. Add three assists into that and you have a phenomenal start to the new season from a player that I don’t think is as highly rated as he should be. He can have some fun in this away game, which Bayern should win easily.

Price Boost - Michael Olise to score first @ 11/2

Although I have a lot of love for Kane, I also love to watch Olise - a man who has flourished since his move to the Bundesliga. He offers fantastic balance from that right wing, and given Betfred have boosted him to score first, I think it is worth a small punt on him to find the net before anyone else - at 11/2.

The Frenchman has three goals in five league games, and four goals in total this term, so while he may be more of a creator, he clearly carries a goalscoring threat. Given Kane is just 2/1 to score first, I think Olise, at a much bigger price, offers great value especially against a side that Bayern should be able to dominate.
