Two teams competing at the top of their respective divisions will put it all on the line on Thursday, with Olympiacos hosting Maccabi Tel-Aviv in the Europa Conference League.

The two sides will meet at the Stadio Georgios Karaiskaki in the last-16 of the competition and both teams will fancy their chances of picking up a positive result after some impressive recent performances.

Olympiakos vs Maccabi Tel-Aviv Prediction

  • Olympiakos to win @ 8/11
  • Over 2.5 goals @ 10/11

Team News

Olympiakos boss Jose Luis Mendilibar has no major injury concerns ahead of Thursday's game and he should be able to start Ayoub El Kaabi and Daniel Podence in the final third.

Tel Aviv striker Milson is fit and ready to start and he is another who should catch the eye, having scored in three consecutive games for his club.

Tel Aviv coach Robbie Keane was without Yonas Malede last time out and the forward remains doubtful since suffering an injury in the 1-0 win over Hapoel Be'er Sheva in February.

Match Odds

Olympiakos are 8/11 to pick up the win on home soil and they have won seven in a row and nine of their last 10 in all competitions.

At home, they have won five on the spin, which explains their price for Thursday's game, while the draw is available at 13/5.

Tel Aviv are considered 4/1 outsiders for Thursday's encounter despite enjoying a five-match unbeaten run, while Keane's side have only lost one of their previous 12 in all competitions.

Both teams to score is 5/6, while El Kaabi is the favourite to score anytime at 6/5.

Olympiakos to win @ 8/11

Mendilibar has worked wonders since replacing Carlos Carvalhal in mid-February and his team look to be clicking under his management.

He knows what it takes to win a European competition, having helped Sevilla win the Europa League last season. Mendilibar has since guided his team through the play-off round of the Conference League and he has found the winning formula.

While Tel Aviv arrive in good form, it is fair to say they do not play at the same level as their hosts.

Olympiakos have never gone beyond the last eight of any leading European tournament but they now have a man in charge who knows what it takes to get them there.

Their squad looks primed and ready for the challenge, and their home form suggests they will be difficult to break down.

Olymiakos to win at 8-11

Over 2.5 goals @ 10/11

Goals have practically been guaranteed when these two sides take to the field, and Thursday's game should be no different.

Over 2.5 goals has landed in four of Olympiacos' six games under Mendilibar, while Tel Aviv's matches have been just as lively.

Keane's side have scored 14 goals in their last five games in all competitions, but they have only kept four clean sheets in their previous 10 on the road.

Olympiakos have scored two or more goals in seven of their last 10 on home turf and this should be an entertaining contest in Piraeus.

Over 2.5 goals at 10-11
