Saturday's 17:30 Premier League kick-off sees Nottingham Forest play host to Everton at the City Ground in a match that both teams need to win for opposing reasons.

If reports are to be believed, Forest boss Steve Cooper is under pressure after three defeats in four games, while Everton are still fighting to get out of the bottom three after their recent points deduction.

Both teams were beaten last time out in the Premier League, so it promises to be a nail-biting affair in Nottingham.

Team News

Cooper will once again be without striker Taiwo Awoniyi after he recently underwent groin surgery.

Chris Wood is likely to deputise, but he produced a poor performance against Brighton and Cooper may turn to start Anthony Elanga through the middle and start Callum Hudson-Odoi out wide.

Divock Origi could offer them a threat off the bench, while Ibrahim Sangare is set to miss out as he recovers from injury.

Everton captain Seamus Coleman returned to the squad for the first time in six months against Manchester United, and he may be given some game time due to the poor form of Ashley Young and Nathan Patterson.

Midfielder Amadou Onana is sidelined through a calf injury, while Dominic Calvert-Lewin will need to pass a fitness test, meaning Beto could start up front.

Match Odds

Forest are 7/4 to maintain their strong home record with a win, with the draw priced at 9/4 and a Everton victory on the road 8/5.

This is unlikely to be anything other than a tight affair, but goals are also on the cards, with Over 2.5 available at EVS, while a Forest win and both teams to score available at 4/1.

Over 2.5 goals @ EVS

Any neutral that has attended Forest games of late has had plenty of fun, with their last five games all containing at least two goals. Their previous two games both finished 3-2, sadly to the other team, and Forest have lost their mojo at the back.

While they have only lost one of their previous five at home, they have conceded in six of their seven games in front of their own supporters in all competitions.

Everton have been so consistent away from home of late, losing just two of their eight matches on the road, and they have won four in five on their travels, so they too will feel confident of finding the back of the net.

Draw No Bet - Everton @ 4/5

While we expect this game to be chaotic at times, Everton can continue their fabulous away form.

They have beaten Brentford, West Ham and Crystal Palace on the road already, and they will feel they can add to Forest's woes when it comes to keeping clean sheets.

Both teams have injuries to deal with, but that could make it a more open affair as some fringe players try to stake a claim for a first-team jersey. Everton are fighting for their lives after their recent punishment, so that extra passion may just get them over the line.
