Both teams to score (yes)

The two sides are separated by just one place and one point in the standings after six rounds of fixtures, and that suggests to me that there won’t be a lot to split them on Sunday.

Forest are looking to bounce back from a defeat against Manchester City, while the Bees were turned over 3-1 at home by Everton last weekend.

Steve Cooper’s side have managed to score in every Premier League game so far this season, apart from that defeat to City, while similarly Brentford have only failed to score in one league outing – a 1-0 defeat to Newcastle.

I’m sitting on the fence when it comes to the match result, so I’m going to start the bet builder off with both teams to score.

Taiwo Awoniyi to score anytime

Taiwo Awoniyi has continued his great scoring record in the Premier League with three goals already this season, after netting 10 in his first campaign in English football with Nottingham Forest.

He’s also recorded two assists during that time, meaning that the striker has either scored or assisted in his last nine appearances in the Premier League.

He’s proven himself to be handful so far this season, and the Bees have only kept one clean sheet in eight games across all competitions, so I fancy the 26-year-old to find the back of the net here.

Christian Norgaard to be carded

Christian Norgaard has picked up more yellow cards than any other Brentford player since the start of last season, with seven of them coming in 2023.

The Danish midfielder has committed five fouls across six Premier League matches, and he’ll be tasked with stopping the likes of Morgan Gibbs-White and Callum Hudson-Odoi from playing, so I can certainly see him finding his way into the referee’s book here.
