Leicester City will travel to The Den on Tuesday night (19:45) to face relegation-threatened Millwall, live on Sky Sports Action.

The Foxes are seeking to strengthen their hold on top spot in the Championship, and take one step closer to a return to the Premier League, while the Lions are in danger of dropping into the bottom three following four games without a win. Below you can find our Millwall vs Leicester prediction, featuring a couple of betting tips, match odds and the latest team news.

Millwall vs Leicester Prediction

  • Draw @ 5/2
  • Both teams to score - yes @ 5/6

Team News

The hosts remain without the services of Kevin Nisbet and Tom Bradshaw, and the involvement of Joe Bryan remains in doubt as he continues to recover from a leg injury.

As for the visitors, Enzo Maresca will also be without three first team squad members for Tuesday night’s battle, with Ben Nelson, Kasey McAteer and Tom Cannon all set to miss out.

Stephy Mavididi looks set to retain his place in the Foxes' XI after scoring a late winner against Birmingham City last time out, while Jamie Vardy could return to the starting lineup after being limited to a substitute cameo at the weekend.

Match Odds

Millwall are 18/5 - or a theoretical 21.7% chance - to claim a vital three points on Tuesday night, while Leicester can be backed at 4/6, implying that they have a 60% chance of maintaining their place at the summit of the Championship standings.

The draw is currently available at 5/2, and if you think there'll be plenty of goalmouth action at The Den, over 2.5 goals is priced up at 5/6.

Leicester won the reverse fixture with the Lions, and their FA Cup encounter, by the same 3-2 scoreline, and a repeat of that tally is 22/1.

Draw @ 5/2

Leicester may be currently sat top of the table, but a six-game slump across February and March in which they lost four matches has allowed Ipswich Town and Leeds United to creep into the title race, and they face a tricky test at The Den on Tuesday night.

Millwall have lost three of their last four in the league, but they have turned their home ground into a fortress since Neil Harris' return to the club for a second spell in charge, winning two and drawing one of his three matches here since stepping into the dugout in February.

Leicester are winless in three on the road across all competitions, and although they have won the two previous meetings with Millwall earlier on in the campaign, I think Tuesday's encounter will provide a much sterner test for the Foxes, and 5/2 for the draw offers decent value.

Both teams to score - yes @ 5/6

Leicester have scored the second-highest amount of goals in the Championship this season, so I don't see them having any problems finding the back of the net here.

Only two teams have netted on fewer occasions than Millwall, but they've managed to score at least once in each of their last three matches at The Den, and both teams have scored in two of their last three encounters in the Championship. In addition, the hosts have picked up just one clean sheet across their past five outings, so I believe there'll be goals at both ends on Tuesday.
