Marcus Rashford Transfer Odds: Barca favourites to land England forward

Since being frozen out by Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim, it's appeared almost certain that Marcus Rashford is heading for the Old Trafford exit door, and it's a topic that's likely to drag on through the summer transfer window.

The England international moved to Aston Villa on loan in January, but the summer window comes with a number of exciting possibilities for the 27-year-old. Below, I take a look at some of the potential destinations for the forward using Betfred's Marcus Rashford Transfer Odds.

Barcelona @ 4/5

Betfred sees Barcelona as the favourite to land Rashford's signature this summer, with both the club and player reportedly keen to make the move happen - Rashford has also spoken of his desire to play with Barca wonderkid Lamine Yamal.

With Yamal and Raphinha within the Barca ranks, it remains unclear where the England international fits within the front line - and the Catalan giants aren't exactly strapped with cash nowadays.

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has spoken of his admiration for Rashford - along with Liverpool's Luis Diaz who Barca have also been strongly linked with - so perhaps this move will materialise should the 27-year-old depart his boyhood club.

Aston Villa @ 10/3

As mentioned in the introduction, Rashford spent the second half of the 2024/25 season on loan at Aston Villa - a move that also came with a £40m buyout option.

Unai Emery has reportedly rejected the chance to sign the forward permanently, after scoring four goals and adding six assists in 17 appearances across all competitions at Villa Park.

Rashford's wage demands appear to be too high for Villa to accommodate, so this move looks very unlikely.

Any Saudi Club @ 10/1

Most of Betfred's transfer markets include this option as they tend to pay far more for players than anybody else will.

At 27, Rashford still has plenty to offer in Europe, and he reportedly wants to play Champions League football next term - something he won't be able to do should he move to the Middle East.

Newcastle United @ 14/1

A move to Newcastle United wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.

However, this move hinges on the future of Alexander Isak. If the Sweden international heads for pastures new at Liverpool or Arsenal for example, then I could see Newcastle making a move for Rashford as there will be a goal void up top. The England forward does blow hot and cold when it comes to goalscoring but he's bagged plenty in the Premier League.

In addition, Newcastle can also offer Champions League football.

AC Milan @ 20/1

Another outside pick is European giants AC Milan.

Several English players have tried their luck in Milan, including the likes of Kyle Walker, Tammy Abraham, Fikayo Tomori and Ruben Loftus-Cheek - and enjoy their football.

Rafael Leao has stated that he wants to leave San Siro this summer, and he won't be sort of suitors, so a space on that left flank could soon be available for Rashford.

In addition, former United teammate Scott McTominay has become a fan favourite in Napoli after moving to Campania last summer, playing a vital part in their Scudetto triumph this year, so Serie A may hold some appeal for Rashford.
