Team News
The hosts will be without Mateo Kovacic, Kalvin Phillips and Savinho, while the likes of Rodri, Ederson and Phil Foden are also expected to sidelined but they have taken part in training this week.
James Trafford is expected to retain his place between the sticks, in front of a backline consisting of Rayan Ait-Nouri, Ruben Dias, John Stones and Rico Lewis, who is reportedly set to sign a new contract at the club.
The midfield trio of Bernardo Silva, Tijjani Reijnders and Nico Gonzalez will remain in tact, supporting Oscar Bobb, Jeremy Doku and Erling Haaland in attack.
Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur Stats
- City have lost just one of their last 11 home matches
- Spurs have lost four of their last 12 against City in the league
As for Spurs, James Maddison, Radu Dragusin, Dejan Kulusevski, Manor Solomon, Bryan Gil and Kota Takai will all be absent for the trip to the Etihad. Yves Bissouma and Destiny Udogie both missed the win over Burnley but face late fitness tests to determine their involvement here.
Kevin Danso could be given his first start of the season alongside Cristian Romero at centre-back, while Djed Spence and Pedro Porro will retain their places at full-back.
After his brace on the opening weekend, Richarlison will retain his place up front, and will be supported on the flanks by Mohammed Kudus and Brennan Johnson.
Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur Odds
City are 1/2 after their impressive win against Wolves, giving them an implied win probability of 66.7%, while the draw is 4/1 and Spurs are 5/1 to claim all three points.
Haaland is favourite to score anytime at 8/13, followed by City teammate Omar Marmoush at 7/5.
Manchester City to win and both teams to score - yes @ 8/5
Our first pick is siding with Pep Guardiola's side to get the job done on Saturday.
That's not to say that this will be a straightforward task for City - far from it. Spurs have become something of a bogey team for the Citizens in recent years, losing just four of their last 12 league games against Guardiola's men.
Frank and his charges have put the Super Cup horror show against Paris Saint-Germain, where they conceded twice in the last five minutes, firmly behind them with an impressive opening-day win over Burnley, where they showed plenty of attacking zip.
This could be a high-scoring game, but City should edge it.

Tijjani Reijnders to score anytime @ 11/4
Reijnders put in a brilliant man-of-the-match display in City's triumph over Wolves last weekend, and he's the one to watch on Saturday in our opinion.
The Dutchman grabbed the headlines as he scored and assisted on his debut in English football, and the 27-year-old is bidding to become the first City player to score and assist in his first two Premier League appearances.
We're backing him to get on the scoresheet once again this weekend at a very reasonable price of 11/4.
