Manchester United have managed to ease the pressure on boss Erik ten Hag after a run of three wins in four games ahead of the visit of West Ham on Sunday afternoon (14:00).

A top-four finish already looks beyond Ten Hag’s side but they would at least move ahead of the visitors with a victory.

The Hammers’ own European hopes have been set back by a run of three consecutive draws against teams that they would probably have expected to beat, and they have a poor record at Old Trafford with defeats in each of their last three visits to this part of Manchester.

There is plenty of excitement building for this clash and we have thrown together a 33/1 bet builder for you to consider.

Marcus Rashford 2+ shots on target

Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has been in the headlines for the wrong reasons of late with his attitude coming under the spotlight, but he let his talent do the talking in the midweek win over Wolves as he opened the scoring after just five minutes.

The England international averages a solid 2.1 shots per game in the Premier League and tends to be accurate. Rashford averages 0.7 shots per-game on target but sees a further 0.9 blocked, suggesting they would have been on goal had a defender not managed to get in the way.

Rashford has taken at least two shots in seven of his 11 league games at Old Trafford last season and has had five attempts in his last two. With Ten Hag’s men looking a little slicker in recent weeks, they could rack up the chances against West Ham and Rashford is a strong contender to test the keeper twice.

Kobbie Mainoo to score anytime

Big things are expected of Manchester United academy graduate Kobbie Mainoo and the 18-year-old scored his first Premier League goal and the winner in the 4-3 victory over Wolves.

Mainoo should keep his starting spot after an excellent display at Molineux and he looks a good value pick for an anytime goal.

The midfielder was also on target in the FA Cup victory over Newport so has scored in back-to-back games, and with his confidence high, he could well make it three goals in three games on Sunday.

Vladimir Coufal carded

West Ham full-back Vladimir Coufal should come back into the starting side as he returns from suspension and he stands out as a card contender.

The Czech full-back now has six yellow cards and one red in 20 Premier League games this term and has committed at least two fouls in five of his last 10 appearances, averaging 1.2 per game for the season.

Coufal will be tasked with keeping tabs on Rashford and opposite full-back Luke Shaw on Sunday, and may have to resort to a bit of gamesmanship so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him pick up a card on his return from suspension.
