Crystal Palace will head to Old Trafford for the second time this week on Saturday afternoon (15:00) to take on Manchester United.

The sides faced off on Tuesday night in the third round of the Carabao Cup, where Erik ten Hag’s side emerged as 3-0 winners, and the Red Devils will be looking to continue their resurgence with a similar performance this weekend.

Mason Mount is fit despite coming off at half-time, while Christian Eriksen and Scott McTominay could feature after illness.

As for Palace, former United goalkeeper Dean Henderson was forced off earlier this week, adding to the ever-growing injury list. Jefferson Lerma, Michael Olise and summer signing Matheus Franca are all absent this weekend.

Manchester United beat Crystal Palace 3-0 in midweek and have now won two successive games without conceding, while Crystal Palace have scored just one goal in their last three games, losing twice and could only muster four shots on Tuesday.

Granted, Palace were missing several key players but it feels like United are starting to find some rhythm.

Erik ten Hag’s men now have two victories in a row, after a troubled start to the season but anything other than three points here would be seen as a major disappointment.

The Red Devils will have took confidence from the away victory at Burnley last weekend, as well as the positive performance in midweek, so I fancy them to cruise to another comfortable victory over Palace on Saturday.

He has scored four goals in his last six appearances – including a brace away at Bayern Munich – so he could punish Palace again.
