Manchester City appear to have hit top gear again, and now they know that if they win their final four Premier League matches, they will be crowned champions for the fourth consecutive season. With trips to Fulham and Tottenham to come, before hosting West Ham on the final day, we really are reaching the business end of the season, and it is where the Citizens so rarely slip up.

But next up they host Wolves on Saturday afternoon, with the game live on Sky Sports (17:30). We’ve seen them win out from this position on multiple occasions, but Arsenal are keeping them honest this time around. Below you can find my Man City vs Wolves Bet Builder Tips as the title race enters its next chapter.

Man City to win

Admittedly, this isn’t the most exciting Bet Builder I have put together this weekend. If you fancy a long shot instead, check out the 66/1 selection I have suggested for Arsenal vs Bournemouth. Picking Man City isn’t outlandish, or surprising, but it is sensible.

They are so good at this time of the season, especially when the title is on the line, and their home form is superb. They haven’t lost at the Etihad Stadium so far in the league, winning 12 and drawing five of their 17 league matches in 2023/24. If they can make that 14 wins by the end of the season, they could well be champions again. This is an obvious pick, so I’ll leave it there.

BTTS - No

Essentially, Man City to win to nil. They’ve been better defensively of late, keeping three clean sheets on the bounce against Chelsea, Brighton and Nottingham Forest. There could still changes at the back with Kyle Walker out of sorts against Forest, but Pep just doesn’t have a solution in terms of recovery pace when he is not in the team.

They are likely to play the majority of this game in Wolves’ half, with John Stones and Josko Gvardiol both showing attacking intent this season. However, the back four Pep now prefers have got themselves settled as we enter the key portion of the run-in, something that in truth could win Manchester City this title.

They’ve got all the attacking ability in the world, but as Sir Alex Ferguson said: “Attack win you games, defence win you titles.” Another clean sheet here would do them the world of good.

Erling Haaland and Phil Foden to score

A couple of City scorers to round off this bet builder, and again, I’m playing it safe. I’ve picked the two most likely names to appear on Manchester City’s scoresheet this Saturday, in Haaland and Foden. Haaland speaks for himself, but he will be wanting to back up his goal against Nottingham Forest with another here.

It has felt like he has been slightly out of form (a ridiculous thing to say when he has scored 32 goals in 40 appearances this term), but he now has three goals in his last three Premier League games. Meanwhile, Foden was left out against Forest but is sure to come back into the team here, and continue the best goalscoring season of his career. Now the front-runner to win the PFA Player of the Year award, the Englishman will fancy his chances of notching another goal at the Etihad on Saturday.
