Manchester City can wrap up a record-breaking fourth successive Premier League title when they welcome West Ham United to the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon (16:00), live on Sky Sports Premier League.

Arsenal have pushed the defending champions all the way but Pep Guardiola's men are on the home straight, with full control over their own destiny. The Gunners can perhaps take heart from the fact that City have had previous final-day jitters at the Etihad, needing epic comebacks against QPR and Aston Villa to clinch the title in 2012 and 2022.

Below you can find my Man City vs West Ham prediction, as well as the latest team news and odds.

Man City vs West Ham Betting Tips

  • Erling Haaland - First Goalscorer @ 2/1
  • Correct Score - Man City 3-0 @ 7/1

Team News

City will be without first-choice goalkeeper Ederson after he was replaced during the victory over Tottenham Hotspur following a collision with Cristian Romero. Guardiola has also revealed that the Brazil international will miss the FA Cup final against Manchester United.

Kevin De Bruyne was also forced off against Spurs, but the midfielder is still expected to feature on Sunday.

The Hammers will make decisions on Nayef Aguerd and Konstantinos Mavropanos after recent knocks, while Kalvin Phillips would not have been eligible to play against his parent side anyway but has seen his season ended prematurely by injury.

Man City vs West Ham Odds

Unsurprisingly, City are massive favourites for the game at 1/14 - or a 93.3% chance - while the Hammers are 16/1, and the draw 15/2.

If you fancy both teams to score, that's available at 5/6, and it's the same price for both teams not to get on the scoresheet.

Erling Haaland is currently leading the Golden Boot race with 27 goals and is 1/3 to score anytime on Sunday, while Jarrod Bowen has netted on 16 occasions for the Hammers, and can be backed at 18/5 to find the back of the net at any time this weekend.

Erling Haaland - First Goalscorer @ 2/1

City's star striker looks to have hit form at just the right time for Guardiola's side.

After his brilliant first season at the Etihad, in which he helped City secure a famous treble, the Norway international has missed large parts of the season due to injury, which I think has caused his output to go under the radar slightly.

The former Dortmund man has still bagged 27 times in 30 appearances in the Premier League, and crucially for City, he's netted seven times in his last four outings to put his side firmly in the driving seat for the title.

I've opted for Haaland to open the scoring on Sunday, rather than score anytime, simply for value, and the 23-year-old was also on the scoresheet in the reverse fixture against the Hammers.

Erling Haaland to score first at 2-1

Correct Score - Man City 3-0 @ 7/1

I mentioned in the introduction how City have suffered final-day jitters previously at the Etihad, but I don't see them having any problems on Sunday, despite it being David Moyes' final game in charge of West Ham.

City have won four of their last five league games to nil and they were 3-0 winners in this corresponding fixture last season, which is why I think backing a correct score of 3-0 could be a profitable play on Sunday.

Guardiola's side are full of goals at the moment - they've scored 17 times in their last five league encounters, conceding just once during that time.
