Lugano vs Servette Prediction: Can the visitors make it four in a row?

A captivating contest lies ahead in the Swiss Super League on Saturday (17:00) as two title rivals collide. Lugano host Servette at Cornaredo Stadium with the two teams currently sitting in fourth and first respectively.
They were tough to separate last year, with just a single point between them in the final standings as Lugano finished second. Both have their eyes on the crown this term and this match could prove pivotal later down the line. Read on for my Lugano vs Servette prediction, accompanied by match odds and team news.

Lugano are 13/8 to win here, which gives them a theoretical chance of 38.1%. Servette are valued at 11/8, giving them an implied probability of 42.1%. The draw can be backed at 23/10 (30.3%).
Both teams to score is priced at 1/2 and over 2.5 goals is on offer at 8/13.
Team News
Lugano could still be missing trio Shkelqim Vladi, Ilija Maslarov and Lars Mai due to fitness issues. After being in action in midweek against Fenerbahce in the Champions League, boss Mattia Croci-Tort could rotate his side to introduce some fresh legs to face the league leaders and their title rivals.
After winning all of their matches in Super League so far, Servette are not expected to make too many changes for their trip to Lugano. They have already defeated the reigning champions in Young Boys, so they will be ready to take on another of their title rivals.
Their confidence will have been boosted by last week's victory over Yverdon Sport, in which they had to endure the second-half with 10 men, following Steve Rouiller's sending off. This will force Servette into at least one change on Saturday.
Draw or Servette and both teams to score @ 11/10
With two teams with title ambitions coming up against each other, I must admit it is a tough game to call. Then when you factor in that they have both enjoyed faultless starts to the league campaign by picking up the maximum points on offer, it gets even trickier.
Lugano head into this game with a game in hand over the visitors, which could pay dividends in the long run, but they will see this fixture as one where they cannot afford to lose ground in what is expected to be a frantic title race involving these two teams and reigning champions Young Boys.
There is little to separate these two sides and so I think double chance, in favour of Servette, could be the sensible way to go. They have played an extra game but with that has come another victory. Therefore, I think they are riding a wave of momentum which should give them the edge if there is to be a winner in this contest.
To boost the odds I have boosted both teams to score because I do think that this match can serve up a thriller between two of the best attacking sides in the division.
Over 2.5 goals @ 8/13
This should then help deliver quite a few goals, which is why I am backing over 2.5 goals. Both sides are inundated with quality in the final third and I have no doubts that we will see at least three goals scored in this match.
Lugano's two Super League encounters already has seen over 2.5 goals land, and it has also been a winning selection in their two legs against Fenerbahce in the second qualifying round of the Champions League.
There have also been three goals scored in all three of Servette's league matches to date, which would suggest the trend is going to continue when they face one of their biggest title rivals.
