Los Angeles vs Flamengo Prediction: Brazilians to cruise to victory

Los Angeles and Flamengo will round off their Fifa Club World Cup campaigns when the two sides meet in the early hours of Wednesday morning (02:00 BST, live on DAZN) at Camping World Stadium.
The Brazilian side have already qualified for the knockout stages after gaining six points from their opening two fixtures, while LAFC's two defeats from as many games means they're heading home early. Team News
Los Angeles will want to sign off their campaign with a win before heading home, so expect to see a strong lineup from Steve Cherundolo.
Hugo Lloris will continue between the sticks, while former Arsenal and Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud will lead the attack.
Denis Bouanga will retain his place in the final third alongside David Martinez, and the midfield is expected to be made up of Igor Jesus, Timothy Tillman and Marco Delgado.
Los Angeles vs Flamengo Stats
- Los Angeles are yet to score a goal at the Club World Cup
- Under 2.5 goals has been a winning pick in 10 of Flamengo's last 15 matches
As for Flamengo, Nicolas de la Cruz is the only absentee but head coach Filipe Luis is expected to make some changes with qualification already secured.
The likes of Pedro, Everton and Alex Sandro could be introduced into the starting XI, as could Bruno Henrique after he came off the bench to score against Chelsea last time out.
Flamengo are 4/5 favourites for the game, giving them an implied win probability of 55.6%, while LA are priced up at 7/2 to taste victory for the first time at the tournament.
The draw is currently available at 11/4 and Pedro currently leads the anytime goalscorer market at 11/8.
Flamengo to win and both teams to score - no @ 21/10
My first pick is backing Flamengo to win here without any major worries.
Although not many would have picked Los Angeles to qualify from Group D, they're yet to score a goal, failing to lay a glove on either Chelsea or ES Tunis. To make matters worse and really expose LA's bluntness in attack, they've mustered just seven shots on target across those two games.
Meanwhile, Flamengo have won both of their matches so far and are enjoying a fine campaign domestically as they currently sit top of the table in the Brazilian Serie A, and have booked their place in the last 16 of the Copa Libertadores.
Although Luis could rest some of his key players, the form book suggests that Flamengo will continue their unbeaten run here.

Under 2.5 goals @ 10/11
Following on from my first tip, if Flamengo do rest some of their stars, then I believe it will be a low-scoring game in Orlando.
Three of the four games played by these two teams in the group so far have seen under 2.5 total goals land, so I wouldn't be surprised to see it be a winning pick once again on Wednesday morning. In fact, under 2.5 goals has been a winning bet in 10 of Flamengo's last 15 games.
There's every chance LA could be thinking about the plane ride home and the goals rack up, but I don't think Flamengo will need to get out of second gear.
