Liverpool vs Manchester City Bet Builder Tips: Reds to topple City in 25/1 shot

Manchester City will be aiming to end a run of six games without a win when they travel to Anfield on Sunday afternoon to face top of the table Liverpool (16:00, live on Sky Sports Main Event).
Arne Slot's side will be looking to inflict further misery upon the defending champions and open up an 11-point lead at the summit of the table. Read on for my Liverpool vs Manchester City bet builder ahead of Sunday's contest on Merseyside.

Liverpool to win
The conditions look ideal for Liverpool to cruise to victory on Sunday.
Manchester City's confidence levels are rock-bottom following a run of five defeats in six matches against the likes of Bournemouth, Brighton & Hove Albion and Sporting Lisbon.
Only Leicester City and Aston Villa have conceded more than City's eight goals in their last four Premier League matches, while they've also shipped 10 in their last four road trips.
The Reds secured a famous win over Real Madrid in midweek, and sit comfortably top of the Premier League table with a sizeable eight-point advantage over the chasing pack, having dropped only five points all season.
In addition, Anfield hasn't been a happy hunting ground for City, who have won just once on their last 23 visits to Merseyside.
Liverpool to win for me and, dare I say it this early on in the season, maybe put one hand on the trophy with three points here.
Andy Robertson to be carded
Robertson has looked off the pace for Slot's side for a number of weeks now. To be fair to the Scotland international, he had a disrupted pre-season which had an impact on his fitness levels at the start of the campaign.
The former Hull City left-back has given away penalties in successive matches against Southampton and Real Madrid, and could be in for a long afternoon if City identify him as a weakness to exploit.
Robertson is averaging 0.56 fouls per 90 minutes, but he's only been booked twice this season, escaping the referee's notebook for both aforementioned penalty incidents. Chris Kavanagh is Sunday's referee, and he's recorded 47 bookings in the eight games he's officiated in the Premier League so far this term, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Robertson cautioned on Sunday.
Mohamed Salah to score 2+ goals
Salah looks the most likely option to score on Sunday, in my opinion, especially given how fragile City's backline is at the moment.
The Egypt international can fill his boots here - he's netted 12 goals in 19 appearances this season, scoring in each of his last five top-flight games, perhaps motivated by the speculation surrounding his contract situation.
Nevertheless, he boasts a fantastic record against City having scored 11 goals and provided six assists in 21 meetings with Pep Guardiola's side. The only side he has more goal involvements against is the red half of Manchester.
