Portugal may have already booked their places at next summer's Euro 2024 finals in Germany, but they still have to play out their remaining fixtures. They won't mind, though, as it will allow them to have free hits in these matches and start experimenting ahead of next June.

They travel to bottom-of-the-table Liechtenstein on Thursday evening (19:45), who have not picked up a single point in this qualifying campaign. Here are some of the best markets on offer in this clash.

Liechtenstein vs Portugal Betting Tips

  • Portugal 6-0 - 7/1
  • First goal time 1-10 minutes - 8/5

Match Odds

Liechtenstein are at the huge price of 50/1 to pull off an upset here. And while Portugal could make several changes to the team and players' heads may not be as focused as they were previously, they should still be able to beat the hosts comfortably.

However, there is no value in backing them at 1/150. A draw is valued at 25/1 in this contest.

Over 5.5 goals in this contest is priced at 6/4 if you think Portugal can run riot here.

Team News

Liechtenstein have no fresh concerns heading into this one.

Portugal boss Roberto Martinez is going to be without Danilo Pereira, Pedro Neto and Rafael Leao due to injury. Raphael Guerreiro, Renato Sanches and Nuno Mendes are also going to miss out.

Portugal 6-0 @ 7/1

Even with several absentees and qualification already secured, Portugal should have a field day once again against Liechtenstein. They were 4-0 winners on home soil back in March but we fancy them to add two more goals to their haul on this occasion.

That 4-0 victory came early on in the campaign while Liechtenstein would've had some fight in them. Whereas now, it is doubtful they have any spirit left and are just waiting for this miserable campaign to end.

First goal time 1-10 minutes @ 8/5

It would certainly help the 6-0 scoreline to come in if Portugal can get a goal quickly after the game starts. This should come easily as they did so in the reverse fixture back in March when Joao Cancelo put them ahead in the eighth minute.

With this game coming towards the end of the qualifiers, and Liechtenstein's players devoid of any confidence heading into the match, we can see Portugal grabbing the first goal even earlier than eight minutes in.
