Third spot and a place in the Europa League is on the cards when Lens and Sevilla clash in the Champions League at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis on Tuesday.

Neither side can qualify for the knockout stage from Group B with Arsenal and PSV already through but a place in Europe's secondary competition is still up for grabs.

Lens vs Sevilla Prediction

  • Lens to win & under 3.5 goals @ 6/4
  • Sevilla to not score @ 13/8
  • Elye Wahi to score at anytime @ 8/5

Team news

Lens are set to be without Jimmy Cabot, Wuilker Farinez, Deiver Machado and Ayanda Sishuba, while Morgan Guilavogui is back from suspension.

Visitors Sevilla have a lengthy injury list with Alfonso Pastor, Suso, Orjan Nyland, Mariano Diaz, Tanguy Nianzou, Jesus Navas, Erik Lamela, Loic Bade and Marcus Acuna all unavailable.

Dodi Lukebakio, meanwhile, is a doubt while Lucas Ocampos and Fernando are suspended along with coach Juanito.

Match odds

Lens are 19/20 to make home advantage count, while the draw is 23/10. Visitors Sevilla can be backed at 12/5 to win.

Lens to win & under 3.5 goals @ 6/4

Lens are in the driving seat for third spot in Group B and they can secure their Europa League berth by beating Sevilla.

The Blood and Gold were hammered 6-0 by Arsenal at the Emirates on matchday five but they are a different beast on home soil.

Lens are unbeaten in their last seven games on their own patch, winning five and beating Arsenal 2-1 as part of that run.

As for the visitors, they have struggled on their travels this term and have lost three of their last four away contests.

Plagued by injuries, they are worth opposing and they could lose a low-scoring contest against Lens, so back the hosts to win and under 3.5 goals.

Sevilla to not score @ 13/8

The 6-0 capitulation against Arsenal was uncharacteristic of this Lens team, who are typically quite tough to break down under Franck Haise.

They have kept five clean sheets in their last eight matches in all competitions, shutting out Montpellier on Friday, and Sevilla could struggle to even find the net in France.

The La Liga club failed to find a way past Mallorca on Saturday, losing 1-0, and the only two road games they have won this season were against lower-league opponents Quintanar and Atletico Astorga in the Copa del Rey.

At 13/8, they are a decent bet to draw another blank.

Elye Wahi to score at anytime @ 8/5

Lens saw crucial marksman Lois Openda depart for Leipzig over the summer but they reinvested the money well to sign bright youngster Elye Wahi from Montpellier.

The young forward scored 19 goals in Ligue 1 this season and has shown signs of promise for the Blood and Gold too.

He has scored four times in all competitions with two of those goals coming in the Champions League, including the winner against Arsenal in October, and he is a decent bet to score at any time at 8/5.
