Leeds have made some good signings in the summer as the Whites look to avoid the drop back to the Championship and Daniel Farke’s men will have a home Elland Road crowd on side on Monday night.

However, Everton are an established Premier League team and the Toffees can start the new campaign with a victory.

David Moyes’ men lost only three of their final 15 league matches last term and those defeats came against top-level teams in Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool.

Leeds make the step up to the Premier League following last term’s Championship blitz, and while the Whites will face far better quality opposition in the top flight, the goals should continue to flow.

Daniel Farke’s men scored 95 goals in 38 second-tier games last term and they are likely to go on the front foot.

Even when Leeds were relegated from the top flight in the 2022/23 season, they still scored 46 times, but clearly Farke’s men will have a job stopping a good Everton side at the other end.

Iliman Ndiaye was Everton’s standout performer last term, scoring nine Premier League goals and the 25-year-old would have likely had more of an impact but for injury.

The Senegal star hit 1.34 shots per 90 minutes, with 0.66 on target per 90 in the Premier League last season and there should be plenty of opportunities for Ndiaye against a Leeds side adjusting to life in the Premier League.

Ndiaye is 8/11 to hit at least one shot on target at Elland Road and that looks a strong play in a three-selection bet builder.
