League One returns for another weekend and we have a complete fixture list to enjoy. Below we’ve put together a fourfold accumulator for Saturday afternoon.

League One Accumulator Tips:

  • Portsmouth to beat Reading @ EVS
  • Oxford United to beat Wycombe @ 4/5
  • Barnsley to beat Fleetwood @ 7/10
  • Lincoln City to beat Exeter @ 2/1

Fourfold pays 18/1

Portsmouth to beat Reading @ EVS

Let’s start with the league leaders, who remain unbeaten in League One. Pompey were held to a 0-0 draw by Cambridge United last time out, but they have an abundance of quality and so far, look a step above any other team at this level.

They travel to a Reading team that is out of form, and in danger of relegation. They haven’t won a league match since mid-September, are in a mess off the pitch and on the pitch are now second bottom with just six points to their name. This should be a comfortable away win.

Oxford United to beat Wycombe @ 4/5

Oxford lost last time out at Wigan and that weak showing has arguably lengthened the odds here. However, they are back on home soil where they have won five from seven so far this term. In my opinion they are still one of the best sides in the league and should be able to get back to winning ways against a Wycombe outfit that has leaked six goals in their last two matches.

Barnsley to beat Fleetwood @ 7/10

After their agonising play-off final loss last season, the departure of Michael Duff and several key players, few expected Barnsley to be challenging again this season. However, under Neill Collins, the Tykes are right up there. Now in third, just two points off the automatic spots, Barnsley are four games unbeaten and comfortably beat Shrewsbury at home last time out. I can see a similar performance coming against lowly Fleetwood, who currently sit in the relegation zone.

Lincoln City to beat Exeter @ 2/1

Long odds here for Lincoln to beat Exeter at St James Park, and I’m not too sure why. Exeter are in simply shocking form, losing their last six league matches and their last three without scoring a goal. They have one of the weaker squads in the division and were expected to struggle, but a bright start raised expectations. However, now they seem to be reverting to the mean, while Lincoln are a solid outfit, with an outside shot at the play-offs. As a result, the 2/1 on them to win this game is worth backing as a single, and including in your acca.
