We may be in the midst of an international break, but we’ve got 11 League Two fixtures to keep us going over this weekend. As always, we’ve put together an accumulator that may take your fancy on Saturday.
Gillingham to beat Harrogate Town
Harrogate look like they may be in trouble this season. They’ve won just one of their last five league matches, and that isn’t including the 8-0 hammering they were dealt by Blackburn Rovers in the EFL Cup.
Meanwhile, having one their first four matches 1-0, Gillingham hit a slightly sticky patch. They’ve lost to Colchester and Grimsby in recent weeks, but this looks to be the perfect match to get them back on track. They boast the stronger squad on paper and in Neil Harris, have one of the best bosses in the league. This should be a home win.
Wrexham to beat Doncaster Rovers -1
Doncaster are still rooted to the bottom of the Football League. They are yet to win a game this season and have scored just four goals in six matches. They’ll have winced at seeing their next opponents were Wrexham, who are just getting going.
Wrexham are unbeaten since the opening day of the season and look to be getting better and better as the campaign progresses. They beat Tranmere 1-0 away from home last time out and could run riot against a Doncaster side lacking confidence.
Crawley Town to beat Newport County
Crawley have been one of the surprise packages of the League Two season so far. But that doesn’t make their games easy to predict. In their last three they’ve had a 6-0 defeat, a 3-3 draw and then last time out, a 4-3 win.
Meanwhile Newport have been in good form lately, but mainly at home. On the road they have been slightly susceptible with defeats to Crewe Alex and Accrington in recent weeks. In those two losses they conceded seven goals, and they could find life tough against a Crawley side who have been clinical in front of goal recently. This one will have goals, and we are backing the home side to come out on top.
