Rotherham vs Bradford Prediction: Millers are in for more woe

Life back in League 1 could not have started much better for Bradford City following last season’s promotion, and they head into Thursday night’s game at Rotherham United (20:00 BST, Sky Sports Main Event) at the top of the table.
The Millers, meanwhile, are not enjoying themselves as much as their Yorkshire rivals and will be looking to stop a run of three successive defeats when they line up at the New York Stadium. Below are my Rotherham vs Bradford predictions, supported by all the latest team news and match odds.
Rotherham vs Bradford Betting Tips
- Bradford to win @ 21/20
- Bet Builder - Over 2.5 goals, Bobby Pointon to score at any time & both teams to score @ 7/2

Team News
The Millers have no fresh injury concerns, although Arjany Martha looks likely to come into midfield after replacing Marvin Kaelta at half-time of Saturday’s defeat to Mansfield.
The Bantams, meanwhile, look set to be unchanged following their home victory over Blackpool at the weekend.
Bradford are 21/20 to claim the points on Thursday, with hosts Rotherham and a draw both rated as 12/5 chances.
Punters can get 5/6 about there being over 2.5 goals and 4/6 that both teams score, while Bradford’s Andy Cook is 4/1 favourite to score the first goal, with his team-mates Stephen Humphreys and Will Swan both available at 5/1.
Bradford to win @ 21/20
The opening 10 games of the League 1 season could not have gone much better for Graham Alexander’s Bradford, and the leaders should boost their record with a win at Rotherham on Thursday.
The Bantams were hugely impressive in their recent eye-catching 3-1 win at fancied Cardiff, and a repeat of that away performance could mean the Millers find them too hot to handle.
United have their own issues as they are joint bottom of the table and a 2-1 defeat against Mansfield last week was their third reverse on the bounce and their sixth in seven games.
Their start has been a huge cause for concern, and it is unlikely to get better against a team who are right at the top of their game.

Bet Builder - Over 2.5 goals, Bobby Pointon to score at any time & both teams to score @ 7/2
There are three elements to the Bet Builder for this game, starting with over 2.5 goals, which has occurred in four of Bradford’s last six away matches.
The Bantams’ clean sheet against Blackpool on Saturday was only their second in the league this season, so it is worth chancing that both teams will score, especially as five of Rotherham’s seven goals this term have come at their South Yorkshire base.
City midfielder Bobby Pointon has notched five times this season and, although he has not been on target in his last three games, his confidence still seems high after he had four shots against the Seasiders on Saturday, so expect him to regain his goalscoring touch.
