League One is back with another action-packed weekend and we’ve selected a fourfold for you to look at ahead of Saturday’s matches.

League 1 Accumulator Tips:

  • Derby County to beat Cheltenham Town @ 4/9
  • Oxford United to beat Bristol Rovers @ 8/11
  • Portsmouth to beat Port Value @ 3/5
  • Bolton Wanderers to beat Carlisle @ 4/9

Fourfold pays 5/1

Derby County to beat Cheltenham Town @ 4/9

It’s truly remarkable how bad Cheltenham have been this season. They’ve equalled Coventry’s record of 11 games without a goal from the 1919/1920 season, and are now just 90 minutes away from holding the record outright. They’ve lost all but one of their games so far, incredibly holding league leaders Portsmouth to a 0-0 draw, but they look utterly dismal this term. A home match against one of the league’s strongest teams in Derby County, is unlikely to turn the tide.

Oxford United to beat Bristol Rovers @ 8/11

Oxford are flying. They’ve won their last five League One matches and scored three goals in every single one of those wins. Liam Manning’s side have stormed up to second and are yet to draw, winning eight and losing two of their ten league matches to date. Bristol Rovers are a competitive team under Joey Barton, currently in 12th, but it doesn’t look like anything will stop the Oxford onslaught at this moment in time.

Portsmouth to beat Port Vale @ 3/5

Only one team looks better than Oxford at the moment in League One, and that is League leaders Portsmouth. John Mousinho has finally got this giant of a football club battling at the top of the table and a third consecutive 2-1 win in midweek kept their unbeaten start going. Next they host Port Vale who had a bright start, but have lost their last two without scoring. They should lose again here.

Bolton Wanderers to beat Carlisle @ 4/9

I’m fairly bullish in my belief that Bolton are one of the best teams in the league and will be challenging for the automatic places this season. They came through a tough test against Stevenage with all three points in midweek and are now attempting to hunt down both Oxford and Portsmouth. Carlisle are bringing a huge following down for this one, but they are without a win in six matches in all competitions. Bolton should be able to beat them fairly comfortably.
