Le Mans vs PSG Prediction: Underdogs could get on the scoresheet

Le Mans have never reached the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France and they face a tough task to do so this time around as they host defending champions Paris Saint-Germain in this last-16 clash.
In my Le Mans vs PSG prediction, which you can check out below, I've picked out the best bets for this Coupe de France clash, which kicks off at 20:10 on Tuesday and will be played at the Stade Marie-Marvingt in Le Mans.
Team News
Edwin Quashie, Erwan Cola and Vula are all expected to miss out through injury for Le Mans. Antoine Rabillard has four goals in the Coupe de France this season and is their danger man.
Paris Saint-Germain will be without Warren Zaire-Emery and Ibrahim Mbaye, who both have ankle issues, while Joao Neves has a problem with his foot.
Expect PSG to rotate somewhat, with a league clash against Monaco on Friday and the first leg of their Champions League play-off round tie next Tuesday.
Paris Saint-Germain are strong favourites at 1/12 for the victory, while Le Mans are 16/1 (5.9%) outsiders and the draw is available at 7/1.
Over 2.5 goals is on offer at 4/11, while both teams to score is priced at 5/4 and it is 10/11 for over 1.5 goals in the first half.
PSG to win and both teams to score @ 9/5
PSG have won this competition in seven of the last 10 seasons so it is not hard to see why they are strongly fancied against third-tier outfit Le Mans.
They have not been beaten by a lower-league side in the Coupe de France since 2009, going 31 matches without defeat in that run.
Nevertheless, they have hardly been watertight at the back recently, as 10 of their last 11 games in all competitions have seen both teams score.
Included in that spell is the last round of this competition where they went behind after three minutes to Espaly-Saint-Marcel before recovering to win 4-2.
Le Mans are unbeaten in their last nine games and could at least get on the scoresheet, albeit in defeat.

Over 3.5 goals @ 5/6
Despite PSG’s occasional defensive issues, they have been in fluent form going forward. The Ligue 1 champions have scored at least four goals in four of their last six outings.
Three of Le Mans’ last six games have featured over 3.5 goals and against the most star-studded attack in the country, this game looks set to follow suit.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
