Barcelona round off their season with a trip to Mestalla to take on a Valencia side that still has an unlikely shot at snatching Spain's final European place.
There's nothing riding on this game from a visiting perspective. They wrapped up the title when they beat Real Madrid 2-0 in El Clásico a fortnight ago. However, a 1-0 defeat against Alavés three days later ended their chances of hitting 100 points for only the second time in their history.
Barça did manage the impressive feat of finishing the campaign with a 100% home record, thanks to a 3-1 triumph over Real Betis last time out. That result was never really in doubt, with Raphinha returning to the team to bag a brace on a night that saw Robert Lewandowski wave goodbye to Camp Nou.
The legendary striker joined a club in crisis in 2022. He leaves with Barcelona in much better shape on and off the pitch. The 37-year-old's 119 goals across all competitions have helped the Catalan giants get back on the right track.
Attention will soon turn to finding a replacement for the Poland international. Club president Joan Laporta insisted this week that Barça are no longer severely handicapped by the poor state of the club's finances, but doubts remain over just how much business they'll be able to do this summer.
It's also unclear whether there will be any move to keep Marcus Rashford at the club. The Englishman may therefore make his final Barcelona appearance at Mestalla in a fixture that the Catalans have dominated in recent years.
Valencia were beaten 6-0 by Hansi Flick's team earlier this season. They've lost the previous five meetings overall, conceding 24 goals in the process. However, the circumstances surrounding this final-day showdown suggest they should at least be more competitive this time around.
Los Che had not mathematically sealed their safety heading into their trip to play Real Sociedad last weekend. It has been another unconvincing campaign, which has seen fans continue to protest against the ownership of Peter Lim, as well as the management of Carlos Corberán.
They were 3-2 behind and down to 10 men heading into the final three minutes at the Reale Arena. However, late strikes from Guido Rodríguez and Javi Guerra set up a dramatic 4-3 victory, and remarkably Valencia can now dream of returning to the European stage.
They will need to beat Barcelona in this match to have any chance of playing Conference League football next season. However, even if they claim three points, they'd also need both Getafe and Rayo Vallecano to slip up.
The days when Valencia could compete with Spain's big two for league titles and major European silverware may be long gone, but Mestalla is still capable of generating a lot of noise on a big night. It should be rocking on Saturday, with Los Che in decent form having only lost one of their past six matches.

Team News
Corberán will have to cope without the suspended Eray Cömert, who was the player sent off in San Sebastián last Sunday. Unai Nuñez may shuffle across to centre-back as a result, with Thierry Correia potentially coming into the side.
Valencia also have some notable injury problems with José Gayà, Renzo Saravia, José Copete, Mouctar Diakhaby, Lucas Beltrán and Dimitri Foulquier all sidelined.
As for Barcelona, there was a major blow for their young midfielder Fermín López last weekend. He's set to miss this game and the World Cup as a result of a fractured metatarsal. Lamine Yamal and Jules Koundé are also sidelined.
Flick could go in many different directions with his team selection here. He may use the game to give minutes to some fringe players and youngsters such as Álvaro Cortés. However, he did go strong against Betis last time out and will still be hoping to round off the season with a win.
Valencia vs Barcelona Predicted Lineups
- Valencia: Dimitrievski, Rendall, Tarrega, Nunez, Vazquez, Rioja, Ugrinic, Rodriguez, Ramazani, Guerra, Duro
- Barcelona: J. Garcia, Araujo, Cubarsi, E. Garcia, Balde, Gavi, De Jong, Pedri, Raphinha, F. Torres, Rashford
Barcelona are the 5/6 favourites to sign off from the 2025/26 campaign with another victory. You can back the Catalans to draw for only the second time this term in the league at 16/5, while Valencia are priced at 13/5.
The visitors are also on offer at 3/1 to win the game to nil. Flick's men are given a 7/4 chance of scoring over 2.5 goals, while they're available at 6/5 to score in both halves.
You can back Both teams to score two or more goals at 5/2. Valencia are available at 5/4 to score over 1.5 goals, and Los Che are also priced at 11/10 to win either half.
After a brace in the Basque Country, Guerra looks good at 16/5 to score anytime. Hugo Duro is seen as the most likely Valencia goalscorer, with the forward on offer at 5/1 to score first, and 13/10 to score anytime.
From a Barcelona perspective, you can back Lewandowski to score anytime in his final appearance at Evens. Raphinha is priced at 7/5 in the same market, while Rashford is on offer at 7/4.
Bet 1 - First half - Under 1.5 goals @ 8/11
Recent Barcelona matches have not been quite as exciting as some of their early-season games. Four of the past six have ended with two or fewer goals, while they've tightened up at the back, and now boast the joint-best defensive record in La Liga.
To the frustration of their fans, Valencia tend to be very conservative against the best sides. They've lost all three home matches against top-four opponents 2-0, while their fixtures at Mestalla all season have taken a while to open up.
Only one of Los Che's 18 home league games has produced more than one first-half goal. On 10 occasions at Mestalla, they've gone into the interval at 0-0. Given that, I'm backing this match to produce under 1.5 first-half goals at 8/11.
Bet 2 - Most corners - Valencia @ 9/4
Since losing Yamal to an injury a month ago, Barcelona haven't carried the same attacking threat. They are also winning far fewer corners without the teenager.
The Catalans have lost the corner count in three of their five matches since Yamal suffered a hamstring injury. With some rotation expected and up against what will be a motivated Valencia side, they're unlikely to totally dominate this game.
Flick could even decide to rest Pedri at the end of a busy season for the midfielder, who has struggled to reach his best level in recent months. That would give Valencia a real chance of gaining control in midfield.
Corberán's men are averaging 5.94 corners per home game in the Spanish top flight this term. I'm backing them to win the most corners in this match at 9/4.
