Juventus vs Manchester City Bet Builder Tips: 12/1 punt for Thursday’s contest

Juventus and Manchester City will lock horns on Thursday evening (20:00 BST, live on DAZN) at Camping World Stadium, to determine the winner of Group G at the Fifa Club World Cup.

Both sides have already qualified for the last 16 and are level on six points heading into this contest, which should make for an intriguing battle. Read on for my Juventus vs Manchester City Bet Builder Tips ahead of Thursday's encounter.

Double Chance - Juventus or Draw

A tactical tussle between Igor Tudor and Pep Guardiola is in store on Thursday and both sides will back themselves to come away with all three points.

However, I'm siding with the Old Lady to get at least a point from the game, as that is all they require to secure top spot.

Juve have lost only one of their 11 matches since Tudor replaced Thiago Motta as manager in March and they've already have tasted success against Manchester City in this season’s Champions League, winning 2-0 at the Allianz Stadium in December.

City looked to have turned a corner at this tournament, and appear to be more like the side we've been accustomed to seeing during Guardiola's reign at the Etihad, but the Italian side are unbeaten in their last five European matches against City.

Randal Kolo Muani Total Shots - 2+

Randal Kolo Muani, on loan from Paris Saint-Germain, was cleared to participate in the Club World Cup and has made an immediate impact, scoring twice in a 5-0 thrashing of Al Ain on matchday one - bringing his total to 10 goals in 21 appearances for the Serie A side.

The French international will look to cause problems with his pace and power, and he also had two shots in the 4-1 win over Wydad AC. So, I think a couple of chances may fall his way again here.

Total Goals Over/Under 2.5 - Under

With both sides already securing their places in the next round, there could be plenty of rotation in personnel, which lessens the chances of this game becoming a shootout, in my opinion.

City's last 10 games across all competitions have averaged just 2.3 goals per 90 minutes with seven of those falling under the 2.5 goals line - not a selection you often associate with a Guardiola team.

The Club World Cup has produced the occasional goal-fest, most notably Tuesday morning's chaos as Inter Miami, Palmeiras, Al-Ahly and Porto managed to score 12 goals between them across their respective fixtures, but 19 of the tournament's matches so far have seen under 2.5 goals land.

Player Shown Any Card - Weston McKennie

At 11/4, Juve midfielder Weston McKennie looks a decent pick to find his way into the referee's notebook.

The USA international has fouled in eight straight games for Juventus in all competitions, including a foul in just 14 minutes of action off the bench in their final game of the season against Venezia. Looking back even further, McKennie has committed a foul in 18 of his last 20 starts for the club.

Should he feature on Thursday, with an average of 1.34 fouls per 90 in all competitions for the Old Lady this term, I would expect McKennie's foul count to mount up, especially if he's trying to contain the likes of Phil Foden and Rayan Cherki - which should lead to a card being shown.
