Juventus suffered a significant setback with their 1-0 defeat to Serie A leaders Inter Milan in their last league outing and they go into Monday's home game against Udinese seven points off the top.

Juve had also dropped points in their previous league game, a 1-1 draw at home to Empoli, but they have an ideal opportunity to get back on track when struggling Udinese arrive at the Allianz Stadium.

Juventus vs Udinese Tips

  • Juventus to win to nil @ EVS
  • Federico Chiesa anytime scorer @ 15/8

Team news

Juventus could be without star man Dusan Vlahovic, who picked up a thigh injury against Inter. Arkadiusz Milik is available again after a one-match ban and will compete with a fit-again Federico Chiesa and Kenan Yildiz to start up front.

Juve must also make a change at the back as Danilo is suspended and Alex Sandro may come in to replace him.

Udinese also have a suspension issue with skipper Roberto Pereyra banned, while Gerard Deulofeu, Jaka Bijol and Enzo Ebosse are injured. Lazar Samardzic may be preferred to Martin Payero in midfield.

Match Odds

Juventus are 2/5 favourites to win for the 17th time in Serie A this season, while Udinese are 15/2 to cause an upset and the draw is an 18/5 chance.

Both teams' last two games have each produced under 2.5 goals and that outcome is priced at 8/11, with over 2.5 goals at EVS.

Juventus to win to nil @ EVS

This looks like a must-win game for Juve after the pain of their defeat to Inter in last week's top-of-the-table clash was compounded by Inter's 4-2 win at Roma on Saturday.

Their two-game dip in form is not quite as bad as it might look though, as the leaders beat them only through a first-half own goal by Federico Gatti and Inter managed only three shots on target in the game.

In the 1-1 home draw against Empoli before that, Juve had to play for 72 minutes with only 10 men after the dismissal of Milik, but still took the lead through star man Vlahovic before being pegged back.

Vlahovic's likely absence is a major blow for, but they should have more than enough to get the job done and extend their unbeaten home record in the league this season. Juve had collected 27 of a possible 33 points, with eight wins and three draws.

Udinese have been extremely poor on the road with only one win and eight goals scored in 11 games on their travels.

Juve had won their previous three home league games without conceding a goal against Napoli, Roma and Sassuolo before the draw with Empoli and should be able to resume that kind of production against the goal-shy visitors.

Udinese have lost on their last seven trips to the Allianz Stadium and that sequence looks set to continue.

Juve should be capable of winning this game by something in the region of 3-0, which is available at 8/1 in the correct-score market.

Federico Chiesa anytime goalscorer @ 15/8

Juve have been rotating their forward line in recent games through necessity rather than design and a further change will be required if Vlahovic, who has scored five goals in his last four games, is not able to play.

Italy international Chiesa could get his chance to return to the starting line-up, having missed a couple of weeks through injury before getting 24 minutes off the bench against Inter.

Chiesa had scored in his previous league outing, a home win over Sassuolo, and was also on target when these two teams met in August and he needed just two minutes to find the net in a 3-0 win to open the season.

His experience should stand him in good stead alongside either Milik or Yildiz and he looks good value at 15/8 to grab a goal.
