Juventus have managed only two wins in 14 Serie A games and the Old Lady will know that a home clash with already-relegated Salernitana provides the perfect chance to ease any potential fears they could let their top-four place slip.

Four successive draws have allowed Atalanta to creep closer to Juve and Massimiliano Allegri will want a positive outcome in Turin on Sunday (17:00) before fifth-placed La Dea host sixth-placed Roma later in the day.

Juventus vs Salernitana Betting Tips

  • Juventus to win and Under 3.5 goals @ 1/1
  • Juventus to win 2-0 and Dusan Vlahovic to score first @ 20/1

Juventus vs Salernitana Odds

Despite their recent struggles, Juventus are overwhelming favourites at 1/8 to collect three points. The draw is a 7/1 chance, while Salernitana are as big as 20/1 to stage a massive upset.

Both teams to score is a 6/4 chance and the bottom of the table visitors have scored in three of their last five on the road. Juve to win and both teams to score can be backed at 21/10. Dusan Vlahovic heads the first goalscorer market at 5/2.

Team News

Juve will be minus Brazilian duo Danilo (thigh) and Alex Sandro (calf) as well as Mattia De Sciglio (thigh) at the back, while forward Timothy Weah is suspended. Striker Kenan Yildiz should return in some capacity, possibly from the bench, with Federico Chiesa and Vlahovic likely to get the nod ahead of him.

Niccolo Pierozzi returns from suspension for the visitors. Giulio Maggiore, Grigoris Kastanos, Norbert Gyomber, Jerome Boateng and goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa are all ruled out, but Domagoj Bradaric should make the cut despite suffering a knock against Atalanta in a 2-1 reverse on Monday.

Juventus to win and Under 3.5 goals @ 1/1

One loss and four draws in their opening 22 Serie A games allowed Juventus to establish themselves as the most credible threat to Inter's dominance this season.

That brought them to the end of January but, since that point, they've gone on a run that has yielded two wins in 14 league games. So poor has been their form, they come into this tussle with relegated Salernitana needing the three points to finally cement a top-four finish and a return to the Champions League next season.

The bottom club's tally of 75 goals conceded was a Serie A high entering the weekend. With 27 goals scored in 35 games, only Empoli (26) have fared worse in front of goal than Stefano Colantuono's team.

They have scored in three of their last five but relying on Salernitana to find the net in Turin is unappealing.

Juve have a Coppa Italia final looming in midweek and will want a win here to send them towards that date with Atalanta. They should get it but, with just eight goals scored in total across their last six Serie A games, don't expect a goal-fest.

Salernitana were hit for six in cup action here in January but Juve have faltered badly since. Take them to win a game with under 3.5 total goals.

Juventus and under 3.5 goals at 1/1 Juventus to win 2-0 and Dusan Vlahovic to score first @ 20/1

If Juventus do forge ahead in this game, focus may start to shift towards the Coppa Italia final. It's unlikely that the home side will be going gung-ho at any stage and their recent woes suggest it will be a hard-working success more than a fluent one.

A routine, no-nonsense home win is probable. Serbian international forward Vlahovic has a formidable record against Salernitana, scoring six times and providing three assists from just five previous meetings. He's 5/2 to score first now, 8/13 to net anytime and an appealing 20/1 to break the deadlock in a 2-0 Juventus win.
