Israel vs Norway Prediction: Visitors to win again

Israel and Norway both started their Fifa World Cup qualifying campaigns with victories on Saturday against Estonia and Wales respectively. They will look to keep building momentum when they face each other at Nagyerdei Stadion in Hungary on Tuesday (19:45, YouTube).
Norway fired five goals past Moldova last time out, continuing the strong form which they ended 2024 in. They must be wary of Israel, though, as they dispatched Belgium in the Uefa Nations League back in November. Below you will find my Israel vs Norway predictions, including the latest team news and match odds.
Israel have won two of their last four matches in all competitions coming into this clash, and they are 4/1 to come away with the three points on Tuesday. One of their past three outings ended in a stalemate and the draw is priced at 11/4 on this occasion.
Norway are 4/7 (which has an implied probability of 63.6%) to take the victory, which they have managed in each of their previous three appearances.
Over 3.5 goals has struck in each of the visitors' last four games and is available at 7/4 (36.4%) on this occasion.
Team News
Israel escaped their win over Estonia without any injuries but they are still having to manage without trio Miguel Vitor, Dia Saba and Dolev Haziza, who all withdrew from the squad before the first game.
Veteran defender Eli Dasa was on cloud nine after scoring his first goal for his country at the 66th time of asking last time out, and he will skipper Israel again from the right side of the defence.
He was teed up by Manor Solomon, who has been having a stellar campaign in Leeds United's promotion quest from the Championship. Solomon is the one to bring things together in attack from the left flank.
The winger is likely going to be aided by Oscar Gloukh in the number 10 role, with the Red Bull Salzburg star attracting plenty of interest across Europe.
For Norway, their excellent display against Moldova came at a price as defender Leo Ostigard was forced off with an injury. It looks like Brentford's Kristoffer Ajer could do with new defensive partner, and Torbjorn Heggem of West Bromwich Albion will be primed to get the nod to play alongside him.
The potent Erling Haaland continues to streak clear at the top of Norway's men's scoring charts, while Alexander Sorloth is just one strike away from equalling Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Tore Andre Flo's tallies of 23 for the Lions.
Martin Odegaard is set to pull the strings from midfield, while energy is going to be provided by Fulham's Sander Berge. Luton Town's Thelo Aasgaard impressed at the weekend, and he could ensure the engine room stays intact.
Norway and both teams to score @ 11/5
Norway have been performing brilliantly since the start of the latest Uefa Nations League, and the momentum they built has set them up nicely for their World Cup qualifying campaign.
After routing Moldova 5-0, they will look to rack up another impressive victory against Israel, but the home side can pose a threat of their own. Two players I have already mentioned in Solomon and Gloukh have the quality to cause Norway problems, but the visitors have superstars in Haaland and Odegaard.
This could be a very interesting game, with chances at either end. I'm expecting Israel to put up a decent fight against the Lions but ultimately Norway have a lot of quality in depth that should help them post another victory.
I've added BTTS to this selection because it has landed in five of Israel's past seven matches across all competitions.

Over 2.5 Norway goals @ 2/1
In Haaland, Sorloth, Odegaard and Aasgaard, Norway are not short on goalscorers and three of them were on target at the weekend. This will give them great confidence ahead of their trip to Hungary, and I think the Lions could be in for another profitable evening in front of goal.
Norway have scored at least three goals in four of their previous five appearances in all competitions, with some games seeing them score four or five. They have been playing brilliantly in recent months and I don't think their attacking form is going to drop off anytime soon.
Israel can provide them with a challenge but they have been no strangers to conceding a high volume of goals lately against the likes of France, Italy and Belgium. As such, I think backing the visitors to score at least three goals on Tuesday offers good value.
