Israel take on Belgium in the Uefa Nations League on Sunday (19:45, Viaplay), with the visitors looking to end a disappointing campaign on a high. The Red Devils have won just one of their five matches to date, which came in the reverse fixture against the hosts.

The home side have taken just a single point so far and unless they can pull off an almighty upset here, they will be relegated. Read on for my Israel vs Belgium prediction, including match odds and team news.

Israel vs Belgium Betting Tips

  • Belgium to win to nil @ 7/5
  • Over 2.5 Belgium goals @ 6/5

Israel vs Belgium Odds

Israel are 7/1 to pull off a surprising win, which give them a theoretical chance of 12.5%. Belgium are priced at 4/11 to take the three points, giving them an implied probability of 73.3%. The draw is available at 4/1 (20%).

Both teams to score can be backed at 8/11 and over 2.5 goals is marketed at 1/2.

Team News

Dor Turgeman was able to shake off an injury that was thought to be a concern and start in the goalless draw with France last time out. Omri Glazer remains on the sidelines, but captain Eli Dasa is back in contention, however, he didn't make an appearance from the bench against Les Bleus.

For Belgium, boss Domenico Tedesco has had to deal with a lot of his key players being unavailable due to injury, despite welcoming all-time leading scorer Romelu Lukaku back into the fold, after the striker withdrew from last month's camp.

Captain Kevin De Bruyne is the most notable absentee on a long list also featuring Thomas Meunier, Jeremy Doku, Charles De Ketelaere, Youri Tielemans and Malick Fofana.

Meanwhile, Chelsea midfielder Romeo Lavia is a doubt to feature having missed out on the squad in the defeat to Italy on Thursday. Club Brugge left-back Maxim De Cuyper - who scored an excellent goal against Italy in October, was able to feature the other night and should keep his place in the side.

To bolster his ranks, Tedesco called in Juventus youngster Samuel Mbangula, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Killian Sardella and Arthur Vermeeren as replacements.

Belgium to win to nil @ 7/5

Yes Belgium have a lot of key players unavailable for this one, but I still believe they have more than enough options to help them end this poor Nations League campaign on a high note.

This isn't helped by the fact that France were left to settle for a frustrating point against Israel the other night, but I think Tedesco can learn to succeed where Didier Deschamps failed.

Lukaku being back is a huge plus for the Red Devils, so I can see him having a big impact on Sunday evening. Belgium's league status is all-but guaranteed as Israel would need a hefty goal swing to condemn their opponents to relegation instead of them.

There is nothing but pride to play for in Belgium's eyes but they have the chance to end the campaign with some positivity. They have already beaten Israel in what was their only win in the Nations League so far, so I fancy them to win again.

To boost the odds I've gone for them to win to nil because Israel's consolation goal last time out came from a Timothy Castagne own goal. I can't see them being that fortunate this time around.

Over 2.5 Belgium goals @ 6/5

The Red Devils scored three goals in the reverse fixture, so I fancy them to at least match that feat this time around. You may think this is bold considering Israel kept a clean sheet against France, but I put that down to wasteful finishing from Les Bleus.

Belgium have a way to go to regain status on the international stage, but even they should be able to pick up comfortable wins against a nation such as Israel, even if some of their key stars are injured.

Lukaku's return should have a big impact in this match, and he is surrounded in other players who are capable of getting on the scoresheet in Leandro Trossard, Lois Openda, Amadou Onana, Johan Bakayoko and Arne Engels.

Tedesco needs a strong performance from his team here to at least try and appease some frustrated supporters, so I am expecting them to score at least three goals on Sunday.
